  • Re: Today's update. After updating the software, my A9 4th gen cannot...

No fix, but the last couple of days my BS1 shows as ‘not available’ in the B&O app “The product is not available on your current network” ? Yesterday afternoon it worked for a while, but not any longer

  • Re: Beoplay E8 1st gen Xmas gift

Hi Jaffrey, thanks for your reply! I have ordered them nonetheless - fear of missing out, and maybe quite soon they will be joining my selection of B&O items i have but don’t use. But I will give it try and let you all know what my verdict is

  • Beoplay E8 1st gen Xmas gift

Hi everyone, At work we’ve been asked to select our Xmas gift, and to my surprise Beoplay E8 1.0 is in the catalogue. I know that these are meanwhile heavily discounted and can be picked up from ca 80 Euro’s on the www. Is the E8 1st gen still a nice product to have in 2020? Some of the reviews are not so positive, but on the other hand, I have no intention of having them in/on during intercontinental flights or anything. I always lived by ‘never say no to free B&O’ ... so I am leaning towards

  • Re: Beosound 9000 - no lasers left...?

I just had my BS9000 fixed / refurbished with new parts; laser, hinges and some other stuff. Via B&O certified service partner in Sweden. I didn’t had the impression that there were or could be availability issues with the laser. Note I have a late MKIII (?) BS9000 Repair was absolutely worth it, listening to CDs now as I am working from home, I even bought a new CD the other day!

  • Re: Beoremote Halo, the future B&O remote control

I saw the Halo at my dealer on Saturday, and although I was already intrigued since the first leaked video it didn’t disappoint at all, knowing that some people do not like it. I would have a very limited use-case for my BS1, as my other B&O products are too old, but I still want to have one. That it is a great achievement. There is probably no good rationale explanation why one would spend ca 700$ on a volume remote control. I am now having tough discussions with the FS (wife), as she states

  • Re: BeoLab 17 — Farewell and thank you.

Picked up my serviced / refurbished BS9000 today that I bought for 13yrs ago new. It is playing through my BL17s now. It is good to be able listen to them again. Great and nice little speakers indeed - with a big sound.

  • Re: BeoTalk podcast

Apologies guys, not my intention to start any rant or discussions re BLM or anything. Just genuinely liked the joke as in ‘small talk - short’ ‘podcast - long’, especially after watching one of the BeoTalk YT videos So, please keep up te good work! I really enjoyed it and the meme gave me a good laugh. Also thinking about the Dutch ‘gitaarmannen’ podcast. Different hobby but similar when it comes to lenghts of conversations

  • B&O phone to open the frontdoor - Bewator

Thanks Guy - will do that. After some call with my provider (ComHem) I learned that the phone should be connected to the router directly and not to the telephone socket - to which i yesterday bought a Swedish plugg (telepropp) :-) There is so much to learn So the phone is working, but will see if new battery make it more stable. Now I only have to link the doorcode terminal to my phone and I am all set for the technical part. Will have to figure out a good placement option as the router now is where
