I have been investigating the belt and have contacted the BeoWorld 'go-to' Martin and he does'nt have the right one. So I'm working on this myself.
I found this one by Axel in Germany, Axel is well known for his cantilever repairs and high quality, so maybe his belt will be OK, If somebody has tried this belt, please comment

  • Re: The best B&O stereo for a teenager girl
The Beolit 12 by a mile. Tough, portable and ready to play the type of media she probably already uses. Amazing sound for such a small unit and no wires/batteries to worry about. Fair to say it is of a more feminine design as well.
Agree, but be careful, the Beolit 12 will attract music interested boys, as flies to horse sh1t.

  • Re: Beogram CD 4500 no Sound

If your meter shows different values it only natural, it measures the resistance between the pins. If measuring from where the cable is soldered in the CD to each pin, one of the pins will show 0.0 ohms or 0.1 ohm, make a note, then change to next pin/solder point, and if all pins/solder points shows 0.0 ohms your cable is OK, but if one of them shows mega ohms the strand is broken, so each soldered cable strand must have a 0.0 ohm to one pin, there may be less cable strands than pins, I dont know

I don't know how it goes in the US, but when people found out that I had TTs and good sounding stereo, they started coming with their long forgotten discs to hear them, mostly old, dirty and scratched, I always goes through the whole procedure of cleaning and checking the discs, and more often than not, I tell them that I wont play them on my TT, explaining that the cartridge is a USD 200.00 piece. We get a beer or a Cuba and listen to some good music. One neighbor came 1 or 2 times a week, always
@Soren - My friendly local used record store (FLURS) has a good selection of cassettes. I estimate they have 400 - 500 pop/rock alone. They sell for $4 or $5 each, 3 for $10. Anything on cassette you'd like me to try to track down for you? I've bought some tapes at my FLURS just to have something to play on my BCs: Stones (2 tapes), Sting, Springsteen, Bonnie Raitt, and a guilty pleasure from back in college, Georgia Satellites. Be happy to look for you the next

If I had to ship to you from Mexico the shipping costs would be higher than the price I paid for a new one, and sorting through my LPs I didnt find anything that I could give away without crying. And even I was a poor student once I have some 500, 45 singles and there I have some doublets, I will sort out some for you, and next time I'm in TX, I will ship them to you, it will take some time before I go up there again, but it will happen. I'm so exited myself when I get a new vintage, and
