• Re: struer trip may

Pzza in DK is probably made by a not Italian immigrant, so I recommend that you lean on Søren Hammer, he vil show you the Danish kitchen, in the morning, Rundstykker, for lunch Smørrebrød, or visit one of the Danish Hot Dog Stands (Pølsevogn), for dinner choose what you want, the danish cooks are good educated and international, OMG my taste buds start reacting, dont forget the Danish Danish and cakes, instead of your 5 O'clock tee, try a Danish 3 O'clock coffee

  • Re: Beomaster 4400 bad noise

If there is good sound in the headphones, the failure is after the output stages, and there are only contacts and speaker sockets after the out stages. Try bridging the speaker 1 contacts. Use the drawing in the manual onsite. If the sound is OK in headphones there is no failure in transistors or caps. Well caps may be tired and in need of change, but the headphones works, so lets concentrate on getting the speakers working.

  • Re: Beolab 8000s issues?

I bought mine used in 2004/5 something, they are 2001 models, that is Mark 1, the mark 2 is after ser. no. 16992475. I have been playing very loud on these BLs and have never had problems, they have survived black outs, brown outs and main power overloads, and are still going strong. But check here and here

  • Re: Beocenter 9500 screws
As Graham said the screws have originally a Torx T10 head. Some knothead has probably destroyed them with a Phillips driver because he was too cheap to invest 3€ in a proper tool. You can replace them with regular Phillips screws if you want.
And dont buy some cheap sh1t, buy good quality tools, they last for years and has the right dimensions.

  • Re: Beomaster 901 - lamps
And don't forget the colorfull and usefull workinstruction(s) Martin is providing when buying these lamps/belts. It's worth the money!
Nearly all items you buy from Martin comes with very clear instructions, so my advise is, for your 901: Buy lamps, caps and at least the 32 volt preset and the 2 presets for no load current.

  • Re: BG tangential - Grease for the rails

I'm using an of the rack silicone grease (Steren), I found this one in DK, dont buy Lithium greases they may destroy polymer materials. Ball bearing in rotating airport beacons, heater fans, electric clocks, watt hour meters and recording meters are principal applications of this grease. This grease is also used to lubricate anti-friction bearing in oven-fans, timer motors, textile slashers and driers, drier motors, induction draft units, plastic gears and cones in small appliances, ball and

  • Re: The best B&O stereo for a teenager girl
May I ask how much you payed for that refurbished 1900 with speakers..?
Not quiet sure it was last year, something like 400.00 USD Today if you check US bay, you will get a BM 1900/2400 for USD 100.00, a pair of speakers for more or less the same, add shipping and spareparts USD 150.00, and we are talking USD 350.00, repair it yourself, add a CD player for USD 50 and you are still way below a Blit or BS8
Francois started out, saying that they didn't have much money to spend on this -so I don't think they'll want to buy new stuff... And one can surely find second hand B&O cheaper than both Beolit12 and BS 8. I would suggest a BS Century, because you then won't have to buy separate speakers (which can be quite expensive-at least the active ones). And you can connect a smartphone or a computer to it via aux.
My son is studying in DK, I live

  • Re: Repairs on a BG 6500
I don't know what it originally was made for... But it was exactly what I needed After some cutting and fiddling around, it looked like this (above). Then I put the tab through the hole from the underside, glued it with some epoxy super glue...
Thats my man, not thinking in a box, but on his feet, good job Steffen
