• Re: Beolit 20 launched!
This is a simple speed bump. Why can’t they take a bit of inspiration from me and Tuomas? https://youtu.be/vKqTtWvFV2k
Cool hack! I think the BeoLit 12 is prime for a BeoCreate 4CA conversion

  • BeoSound Century (2000) table stand and FM antenna

Hello all, I adopted my first BS Century yesterday. Wonderful machine that has been well taken care of by its former owners except for a broken FM antenna and lack of table stand. If you have either or both of these items I would be very interested! I'd also be interested in a more colorful set of frets if available, too. Thanks!

  • Re: Flash your B&O - new thread!

Greetings from my new home office. Still a work in progress, but I have achieved the main goal of uniting my BeoLab 5000 and BeoMaster 5000 with my existing 3000-2 and 4000 to complete the set. Combined with my old projects like the BG1202 and my BeoVox 2500 homage this office is quickly turning into a B&O museum / lounge. I found my BL5K + BM5K while living in Koeln, Germany. Sadly the other large bits of Beo I collected there did not make it home (BV10, BV8, BL8K) but I wasn't letting myself

  • Re: Beolab 5 reliability?

I have been thinking about this specific topic for a long time, maybe now is the right time to bring it up... I'm curious if anyone else has considered the same thing. As a person who also wants a pair of BeoLab 5s eventually, I also have the fear of buying something that will have a huge, costly repair ahead. At any rate, the idea popped into my head that it could be possible to break this cycle by building/procuring a set of amps and a DSP to use externally from the speaker itself. This is

  • Re: Bang & Olufsen CREATE

Well, after almost a year has passed according to my last post, I have resumed this project. With the virus keeping me indoors all the time, I figured it might be a good time to finally at least get the hardware together so I can focus on the software and tuning topic later on with a more robust hardware module. Here is the assembly view so far.. I have an old HDR2 that I gutted and am slowly integrating the Rpi, BC4CA and the power supply (that will be unpacked). Going to add a breadboard as well

  • Re: What Are You Working On Now
The fun continues. New holder for the slide control board. Printing as I type this. I made a happy discovery about the left hand slide cover - it is basically the same as the right hand one, but just a little bit shorter, and the mounting holes in a slightly different position (and only 2 instead of 3). <edit> Just fitted it up - first thing I don't have to do a second time! Pretty happy with it, but I might have used PETG and a higher infill ratio. Not to
