• Re: Beosound essence remote
Have you tried replacing the batteries ?
Tried this at first. Worked only once. After that unpairing and pairing again. I've tried it all. But without succes. Typical thing is that the buttons work but only the volumewheel lost it functionality. I had a bluetooth connection with an Essence mk2.
Hello I have a essence remote where all functionality is working except the volume is this common? It’s a pain I don’t know what I can do to mend it. Thanks
Had this with one remote. Send it in for repair. Apparently it was defective. Don't wait to long iwhen you want it fixed under warranty.

  • Re: Essence MK2 turns off

I've had the same situation. Had this a few softwarereleases ago. But it stopped after newer releases. But now it has been happening for about 3 weeks ago, I think. Looks like they used older modified software again? I have two Essence's mk2, which only one has this strange behavior. I use this one with a infrared remote receiver in the wall. Beo4 controlled. The other one I have is used with a Essence Remote or B&O's app, without problems.
Beobuddy, is this a general recommendation to place the Besosound 9000 horizontally (and possibly resting on a flat surface) for the sake of the product's longevity? Could you elaborate a bit. I own the floor stand and like the vertical appearance, but I find the horisontal wall mounting equally appealing. Bearing in mind what you write, I am now considering how to place it on a chest of drawers or the like.
I can. I've seen and had BS9000's in
They say the mk1 is to be avoided, the mk3 lasers are no longer available.
Just find yourself a mk3 version with a new laser. All mk1's are becoming pretty unstable. The mk2 is next in line. All due to aging components inside at all boards. The mk3 has a modified sledge with better detection at the bottom and the sledge probably moves smoother due to the less decreased rubber around the wheels. Avoid all mk3 beginning with serialnumber beginning

  • Re: Beosound 9000 stays in standby

It's less likely that the processor will be defective. It happens, but the change that it will be something else is more likely. The problem could be in the sledge itself, or a defective motorcontrol. But there a number more reasons why the BS9000 doesn't work. The CD mechanisme with it's control board are different when you compare that with the BS3000. These are not easy interchangeable. When you have the time to investigate, try to release the sledge by using a smal screwdriver and

  • Re: Beovision 9mk2 stand....

Connector on the base goes via cable to inside the BS3. Sometimes the small wires can break at the connector at the base-side.

  • Re: What B&O will you buy in 2020?

Combined with the Netatmo Weatherstation, it suits more purposes than just the B&O app.
Maybe a second iPad Mini to exclusively run the Bang & Olufsen app....
Just treated myself with a secondhand iPad Mini-4 (minimum for IOS updates 13.x ) with a nice frame. Replaces the BR1BT, Beocom 5 and weatherstation. Frame can be taken off the wall (it's kept magnetic in place) when you want to sit relaxed with the iPad. I've chosen for the Mini as the I didn;t want it to be too big on the wall.
