• Re: Beovision 7-40 or 55

Thanks for the info Lee, i think i get you? The 7-40 is a better set in terms of picture quality but trends want bigger sets, for me this means that the 7-55 is a close 2nd in picture but far better in size. Sound wise moving from a 7.4 to a 7.6 would i hear any difference? Did you find that the 55's were harder to sell due to size? thanks Nick
A BV7-40 MK6 is probably a slightly better set than a BV7-55 MK1, but a BV7-55 MK2 would be the best set overall if you could get one. I ended up with the BV7-55 MK2, but I wish I had bought a BV 7-40 MK6 for my bedroom when I had the chance. They're both fantastic televisions.
Thanks for the reply. its a tough decision! cheers

  • Beovision 7-40 or 55

Hi all, Been a long while! I have got a mk6 7-40 and recently purchased a 7-55 mk1. Now I didnt comprehend how much larger the 55 is! for this reason i'm unsure whether to keep the 55! knowing I am unsure about keeping it, what are your thoughts? Is the 40 mk6 a better set than the 55? moving from a beolab 7.4 to a 7.6 aswell i will also need to update the STB for the apple software. has anyone made the jump to this set? Many thanks nick Nick

  • Re: Grainy picture on beovision 7 - i am desperate
Hello Nick, Long Story for me, but with happy ending. After 6 months and 4 repairs at home, my dealer send the beovision back to Struer, and they completely change the screen and not only the CPU and picture mother board. After that, since 3 months now, not a single flickering of the screen. I change nothing else in my installation, same hdmi cables, same connections, same dvd player and setopbox, It was a non identifiable problem, but they have done their job. Hope

  • Re: Help please!

I think theres a menu area where you assign the speaker its either SOUND or CONNECTIONS and you have a list of speakers which you assign but don't assume that the fronts are speaker 1 & 2 you work down the list until you can hear white noise and the assign that speaker. Hope that helps Nick
