• Beolab 90 streaming?

Hi - new to the forum, thanks for the membership. I'd love to get your input on the best streaming setup with BeoLab 90. Like, if I would like to get the best Tidal experience with BL90 as the active speaker. I'd also like to connect my record player. I love the SONOS usability, but I understand that NAIM or Bluesound would be better partners from a sound quality perspective? High-res support etc? Bluesounds app is OK, NAIMs really lacks here and there. Oh, and the B&O native app, I feel
You already asked that question here - and I tried to give you an answer: https://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/22885.aspx?PageIndex=2 MM
yup - thanks, I did read it. Also pasted here:

Would bluesound+BL90 be able to stream MQA?
The BL90’s accect source material in (L)PCM format and as analog. You would have to have the Bluesound decoding the MQA stream first. As for the

  • Beolab 90 and MQA

I know the whole MQA discussion very quickly becomes almost religious. But none-the-less, I was wondering if there was any way to hook up the BL90's to something like an Aurender, Bluesound or OPPO streamer with MQA support and get MQA quality sound streaming from Tidal? Thanks! :) D

  • Re: Beolab 90 Placement

I read about it here: https://www.bang-olufsen.com/ContentV3/downloads/BeoLab90/bang-olufsen-beolab90-whitepaper.pdf The BL's should be able to compensate and deal with any positioning. But, I would still keep them with some distance to back wall for the bass to be in full effect. :) D
You can use any software or hardware, that is MQA-enabled (they have to pay licenses to Meridian for that). Bluesound supports MQA-decoding directly. You should be able to use the Tidal app of the device - according to their website (and Tidal). No need for your computer to run. Connect the analog outputs of the Bluesound device to an analog input on your BV10. Once you have configured the input on the tv/assigned it to a button on the remote AND you have started

  • Best place to buy BL90's?

Hi, We are based in London and are looking to buy a set of BL90's sometime in the coming 6 months. We've seen offers for demo models, and the best price we have so far is £32k - is that a good deal, going rate? Also, we are also considering buying second hand ones, private sale - though they are pretty hard to find (I guess current owners are happy, and not looking to sell), do you guys know of a good place to find any? Is there anything specifically we should be concerned about when

  • Re: Best setup for Beolab90's with multiroom

This is a new house we are building. It's still 4-6 months away. So we do not have bluesound in place yet, though it is the plan. In another house I have a mix of Bluesound and Sonos. With DALI speakers and Rotel (for random rooms) amplifier with Sonos ...and then Lyngdorf amplifier with Bluesound for main listening room. I also have Sonos hooked up to the Lyngdorf as a source, and I feel I can clearly hear the difference when sending Tidal through Sonos vs Bluesound on the Lyngdorf. So, that

That's very helpful Geoff, thank you so much! The advisors we are using liked the Oppo as well. We haven't had a TV for many many years, and were not planning to have one now. Though, if we did have one, it would probably be a more anonymous TV, like the Samsung Frame or something along those lines - that would not be an in-your-face-TV. Would it be doable to replace the BV11 with a Samsung? Or is the Wired Power Link you mentioned from the BV11 key to the setup? It's a real problem for

  • Best setup for Beolab90's with multiroom

Hello, I'd love your feedback on how to build the perfect setup around the BL90s. Incl. Vinyl, and Tidal streaming. I will have Bluesound multiroom all over the house, but wondered if I should go 'better' for the BL90s. Thank you for your feedback, appreciated! :) D

  • Re: Beolab 90 Room Calibration
The system comes with a "welcome pack" which is a shorter version of the microphone in the video. It plugs into an RJ45 socket on the master speaker. I'm guessing you can add further calibration data (up to 20) with that and add these settings to either the speaker groups in a bv or to the app that will shortly come with it.
My BL90s did not come with that welcome pack? No microphone etc? :) D
