  • Beolab 4000 not working

Hi chaps, I've had a look at some of the Beolab threads as I have a fault with one of my 4000s. They were new in 2007 (model with LED as a light rather than a button/switch) & are linked to a pair of Beolab 8000s, which is all set up ok. A while ago my wife heard a low pitched pop from one on start up, result that there's no LED illuminated, no signal or sound. I've checked the mains lead & Beolink cable & they're ok. Not sure if the problem is due to the dreaded foam

Thanks Opman, I've just followed your instruction & all seems to be well in my 'Beoland' again.

  • Beogram 4500 sound in between tracks

Hi chaps, I've recently joined Beoworld & having read through some of the posts it looks like this group will be an excellent source of advice. I have 2 questions: 1.I have a lovely 4500 which sounds great when the tracks are playing, but there's a metallic 'scraping' / rumble sound in between tracks - it's particularly noticeable when the volume's louder. Whilst I'm not familiar with the internal workings of B&O turntables, to me it sounds as though it's related
