  • Re: New B&O TV BeoVison Harmony

Not a fan of lamellas - at all - but I’m getting converted by this bold design. It’s especially appealing when wall mounted, though that raises questions. Where is the location of the motion mechanism? When wall mounted, does the screen remain fixed on the ‘z’ axis? Or does it rise/lower as it does when floor standing? If the latter, how high does it move? What is the effect on sight line when the set is raised by, say, 10 to 12 inches? To be continued, for certain.

  • Re: Would You Recommend H9i Headphones?

Just a few weeks ago I splurged on H9i. So far, very good experience, but that's not a lot of time to gauge things. I took them with me on a cross-continent flight and appreciated (!) the ANC. I've thrown them 'naked' into my backpack and carried on flights, through airports, hotels, etc. No issues. YMMV. OTOH, I've owned a pair of H7s for maybe two years now, and in those same few weeks of H9i ownership, the H7's Bluetooth connectivity has simply given up. They can't

My earlier question about the extent of Shape sales follows Jeff's question about the extent of Edge sales. B&O is now a company that makes a) expensive television sets for a niche market; b) very expensive high-end speakers and speaker-systems; c) moderately expensive headphones, earphones, and single-point speaker systems. 'C' above seems to be doing well, and may be keeping the company in positive cash-flow status. 'A' above is well-debated in this thread and many others

  • Beogram 3000 (59xx)?

I was out of the B&O market for many years (decades, actually), so my product knowledge can be pretty thin, alas. That said, I've been searching the used market for a Beogram 9500 to mate with my BC 9500 & Beo4. But no joy. I guess that few were sold in the U.S. I've now seen a local ad for a Beogram 3000, allegedly in pretty good shape (some scratches to the aluminum), including MMC4. From what I can see in photos, it's a close cosmetic cousin to the BG 9500...? What are your

bramble, even though that’s an Attyca 1, it’s *so* much less expensive than what’s on offer over here in the States. . Thanks for posting (I think!)

Thank you, both. Looks like it won’t be a problem.

  • Attyca 2?

Does anyone have the dimensions of an Attyca 2? In particular, the length and depth of the long piece? A local seller is offering an Attyca 2. I'm tempted. I might place a BS 9500 on the long piece, as well as headphones and some accessories, and a turntable (currently a BG 3404) on the shorter piece...and hopefully hide the cables. If it all fits. Bonus points: what the 'going rate' for a top condition Attyca 2? I've never seen comparable units for sale around me. EDIT: I just saw
