  • Re: Beolit 707 Bluetooth

Good afternoon guys, Next step is to make that little thing mobile again! So the goal is to replace the 5 LR20 batteries with AAA batteries. I'm aware that they won't last long but if they can't stand a couple of hours that should be enough for say a shower or a little barbecue! Just to remember: the battery bay is now half occupied by the power bank fueling the Bluetooth adapter. So i buy those battery holder and theoretically it works, I managed to have sound by just touching the battery

  • Re: B&O 3D Prints

I've just get a Beolit 707 slider 3d printed by my nephew. The model seems to be accurate and it works but we still need to wok on aesthetically aspects and print quality! I've attached the model to this post.

Because the Beolit 600 doesn't have a PSU, you can't tuck the receiver into the battery bay. But because it doesn't have a power supply it has a lot of space behind the speaker. So the mod will be even better on a 600 than on 707! Lucky you ! :-)

  • Re: H8 vs H8i earcups

I think your question was perfectly understandable and it was just my mistake. I'm used to sennheiser wired headphones, like PX100 or HD-30 which exists in "i" version. The standard version works with android phones, the "i" version works with Apple devices because their wiring are different. You cand listen to music with both but you can't use the mic on the cord if you dont have the correct version. Appart from that the headsets are the same. I was trying to help sharing

  • Re: H8 vs H8i earcups

The "i" letter refers to the iPhone compatibility with is related to the wiring of the 4 pins jack, Android devices having a different wiring for the mic/control feature. So anything above the wire should be the same, including ear pads.

  • Yet another Bluetooth mod - Beosystem 10

Hi alls, Following my lasts beocom 6000 handset and beolit 707 bluetooth enabling, I decide to add bluetooth to my last find: A Beosystem 10. Of course as ever no B&O device was hurt during the process and everything is "reversible"! So, the process is pretty much the same as for the Beolit 707. Find "aux in" connection from the inside, add a jack and connect to a BT USB dongle with power bank to power it, tuck it in the battery compartment. Just this time it's a stereo
