• Re: Beolink 5000 key sequence to cancel timer…
OK, a couple of things to try:
Good night Guy, I can't help but picture us like two crazy ethnologists trying to speak the IR language We're like two IR Champollions taking notes in front of our beocenters. Anyway thanks again (4 IR flashes) for the time you take to observe all this. I'll try it and report as soon as I get a result. All the best and good night (1 IR flash).

  • Re: BeoLab8000 wall mount vibrations ?

Hi, I can't say about your first question but can comment on the second. If your appartment is well built there's more chances your neigbors will feel the bass if the beolab were mounted on concrete wall common to the whole building than on dry wall which "should" be isolated from other appartments.

So thats "stream" of 5 keys, right? Is there something I need to do, or time i have to wait between each round?
Yes, just press the 5 keys one after the other. Wait a couple of seconds and then repeat. If you do check the BC2300's IR transmitting, it should look like this when the lights flash:
Hi, Guy I've entered the sequence several times in a row with pauses in between. The BC2300 sensor did indeed

  • Beosound 9000 Noisy Carriage

Hi Alls, Working on my brother in law's Beosound 9000 made me realize how much noisy the carriage was on mine and how beautiful can be a silent movement. So I decide to do something about that. The first cause I see is that the aluminium strip that runs along the wire cable in the groove is broken. To me that is the sound I hear, like an aluminum foil scratching. I'll take care of that. The second cause I suspect are missing pieces: in mine, there is the metallic cage and into it, the ribbon

Hi MediaBobNY, This is a common misunderstanding: pressing mute when standby, just mute the speaker but keep the timer active. If in standby, the Beocenter turns on if but the speakers keep quiet, If on playing any source it switch to the timer programmed source, in my case, radio.

  • Re: Please help me with Beosound 9000 MKII various problems.

Hi alls, Just want to share a short story I can't keep to myself. Yesterday I saw an ad for a second hand Beosound 9000 + 2 bola 8000 for 250€. The time to call, the set was sold but to somebody just interested in the speakers. The seller manage to negotiate a bit and sold the speakers for 150€, asking then to me 150, for the BS with floor stand. Deal. The BS goes to my brother in law, I keep the floor stand. Of course the laser was off. After checking, its was a MK3 9000. BUT, I still
