  • Re: New Member with some Questions!!

Hey Peter! Thanks for the help. I have 2 TV options. One is a Westinghouse bought less than a year ago and another is an Insignia bought about 2 years ago. I will have to check when I get home to see specific models and available connections on them. I was thinking the best option may be to get a receiver unit that has multiple HDMI inputs so I can connect a Roku, Amazon Fire TV, ect. and then feed the 6000s with the preamp out, but I am not familiar with how the S8 would tie into the system. • New Member with some Questions!!

Hello all! I am new to the site and very happy to be here. I have a few questions regarding some set up changes I would like to make. My hopes are that some others here may have the same aspirations as I do... Sooo.. If I have a Beosound 3200 with a pair of Beolab 6000s, what would be the best and or easiest way to integrate them with an S8 system and my non B&O TV? This may be too complex, but I figured it would be nice to have the S8 speakers up front by the TV and the 6000s in the back. Does

  • Is this guy legit?

Hey guys! I am new to Beoworld, and extremely happy to have discovered it! I was browsing eBay and found what looks like some decent deals. This seems highly suspicious to me, but I wanted to see if anyone here has dealt with this guy before or if he is a scam artist. The eBay user name is bhsictc and he has a few listings including Beosound 9000s, Pentas, and Beosound 4000s... They look nice, but he says in the description that there are no bids allowed and you can only purchase them by personally

  • Re: Random Beosound 9000 purchase

Thanks! In the event that it is PIN protected, is there a way around that if they do not have the PIN? I was not aware they had that option. I highly doubt they would have the PIN considering its an estate sale... But lets just hope it is not PIN protected... :)

  • Random Beosound 9000 purchase

Hello! So I stumbled across a Beosound 9000 in an estate sale auction the other day and maybe I was a bit ambitious, but I bought it... ...sight unseen... I think for the price I will be alright. They say it powers on and seems to function, but they had to speakers to test it. I am heading to pick it up this weekend. Anything I need to look for on it? Anything I need to know about transporting it? Thanks Beofamily! -Tucker

  • Re: Connecting a Beosound 9000 to an S8 system.

The set up you have looks pretty good, and I bet it sounds amazing. I am still trying to figure out what I want to do with my 9000. I found a pretty good deal on a pair of Beolab 6000s, but I have been hearing that people who have the S8 love it. Have you had a pair of 6000s? If so, what would you say about the two potential setups?

  • Re: Beosystem 5000 questions.

The Beomaster powers on, but I can't seem to get it to do much after that. If I try to push any buttons on the unit, the "loudness" light flashes and nothing happens after that... If I start the Beogram 5005 the Beomaster will switch to Phono mode but the volume is very very low, clear sound, but vey low volume and I can't seem to adjust it. Thanks!

  • Beosystem 5000 questions.

Hello all! So I bought a beosystem 5000 today... Without really knowing anything about them. But that's kinda how I am, dive into the deep end... It was cheap enough that I could take the chance. It came with a Beomaster 5000, Beogram 5005, Beocord 5000, Beogram CD50 and the MCP 5000. I got it all wired up and each unit seems to do "something", but I can't really gat any of it to work correctly. The MCP says "no transmission. The CD50 will not open, the Beocord 5000 has a tape

  • Re: Fabricating stands and mounts

While I agree that B&O is an expensive brand in general, that doesn't mean you can't be creative in the way you go about purchasing and enjoying the products. I could spend the money but I guess I am just a frugal person. I enjoy coming up with new ways to enjoy something older like the 9000. If you could come up with a new and beautiful way to display your B&O collection for half the price of dinner wouldn't you? Just trying to "think outside the box".

  • Fabricating stands and mounts

Hello BeoFam! I know nothing B&O is necessarily inexpensive... I have been hunting a stand or mount for my Beosound 9000 and I am finding they are near what I paid for the 9000, and just out of my budget right now. Has anyone tried fabricating your own stands or wall mounts? I have a few years of motorsport racing under my belt and have had to fab car parts from time to time. I wouldn't think it would be too bad... Just wanted to see if anyone here had attempted this in the past or have any
