• Re: BEOVISION ECLIPSE
The addition of these buttons is mandatory, if you want to have access to the content of these two giants through he user interface. And it is not a B&O decision - it is a LG decision, since they provide the entire tv/picture part. Sort of 'take it or leave it'. MM There is a tv - and there is a BV.
I would imagine that B&O are still responsible for the design of the TV. LGDisplay would be responsible for providing the OLED panels and
I guess we must face the fact that B&O had very little to decide, when it comes to WebOS and app's. They surely don't want to launch a tv without eg the Netflix app once again. Just think of what happenet as the AvantNG first came out - and they had to remove the Netflix app. No need to argue with these guys - they decide....and LG has decided to 'play by the rules'. MM There is a tv - and there is a BV.
Not long to go now until the

  • Re: Heard from B&o store.
The new oled is coming next week in 65". Priced at around 110.000SEK. The avant 55 and 75 is gone. The avant 85 is to live on. Horizon and beovision 14 is going to stay.
Well that's disappointing if true. I was hoping for a 55" OLED version of the Eclipse. A 65" TV is far too big for my apartment.

  • Re: BEOVISION ECLIPSE
I said it before, the Eclipse has to be less expensive than the Avant unless it won't sell. This tv must be a great seller if B&O wants to take the head out of the water and first thing is the price. With the LG base and the Cz factory assembly they can make it. I'm waiting for the 55" like the messiah so I don't want to be desappointed by a huge price tag (the Avant with a discount is ok) and It's obvious I'm not the only one. [/quote

  • Re: Beovision Horizon: Update to latest version of Android TV?
But the problems described here are unbelievable for a 10K EUR TV. Not that I'm doubting what you're saying but I'm in denial. I asked the dealer about that and he said we never had any customer complaining about the Avant NG since the launch. That was some kind of relief as he insisted on that. Back to the forum and I'm back to square one. Can the issues be related to some regions ? Maybe they got a lemon... no idea but I can't believe B&O isn't

  • Re: Beoworld App - post dates

I had the same issues with incorrect post dates being shown in the app on iOS 10 but since installing iOS 11 Public Beta, it now seems to be showing the correct post dates so I’m wondering if it was a bug with iOS 10?

I actually liked the look of the BV 7, so if it looks similar and priced sensibly then I’ll be happy.

Have you tried to double click on the LinkPlayer icon to see if the App will open?

  • Re: Considering an Horizon...

I believe part of the size issue with the OLED TV Panels (someone correct me if I'm wrong), is that LG Display whom B&O are using as their supplier don't make OLED Panel sizes smaller than 55" If that's the case I'm wondering if a later update to the BV14 will include OLED in which case, sizes will start at 55" or will they split the range with OLED only models and LED models for smaller sizes?
