Hi Carl , The main job on that beogram to make it work properly is a motor rebuild, and it also likely needs a new stylus if your stylus has been used for about 1000 hours it should be replaced or professionally rebuilt Here is my website about stylus repairs www.audio-origin.co.uk Yes I can post you the part I will send you an email. • Re: Repair Beogram 1202 lid

Hello George May, The original Beogram 1202 lid has no hinge you probably have a beogram 3000 lid on it, or a 2000 if it’s black, both of which do fit the Beogram 1202 perfectly. The easiest solution would be replacing the dust cover there are new reproduction 1202 type dustcovers available. But the video link covers rebuilding the hinged type there are many point where those lids break they should be handeled with lots of care. Best Regards Alistair Audio Origin

Hello, I rebuild all B&O styli and cartridges including the B&O sp14, feel free to contact me regarding rebuilding your SP14 I can also examine it for stylus wear under a microscope before any work is carried out to confirm the sp14 is at fault and not something else in your system. • Re: Beogram 3000 5228 freewheel pull problem :(

Hello, A small piece of leather works very well you can use a hole punch to get it the right size for a tight fit put shinny side up, if you don’t have any leather scrap, I can send you a leather disc to put in the hole. Best regards Alistair Audio Origin

  • Re: Beogram 6500 Skipping

Hello, To me it sounds very likely that the suspension in cartridge is failing, Especially due to this comment “I get a little improvement at the maximum tracking force” If you want to post me the cartridge I can test it for you and confirm if that is the issue or not. I can also check for stylus wear under a microscope as you normally have it at 1 gram, I guess you have an MMC2 in which case if the diamond is still good a suspension only repair would be the best option.
