  • Re: Beware of firmware version 1.15.16926

I am having similar issues, but adding to that completely unstable TuneIN player experience on BeoLab player. it sporadically drops the connection and remains non-responsive until power-cycle or reset.

  • Re: Just want to listen to music on my Beolab 8000 sometimes...

    1. Daisy-chain your BeoLab speakers or connect them via Y-splitter to be driven from one Din8 connector in the end/ 2. Get https://almando.com/index.php/b-o/b-o-apple/almando-multiplay-stereo.html 3. Get https://www.apple.com/airport-express/ 4. Connect your TV output to Almando Input 1 5. Connect AirPort Express to Almando SPDIF Input 6. Connect your BeoLab 8000 speakers to the output Now if you want to listen to the music on any of your Apple gear, just stream it to Airport Express and BeoLab 8000

  • Re: BV Avant and BV 14 discontinued?

it looks like BO attempt with Android TV was a flop. I bought 2 x BV14 in the past 10 months and they seem to work kinda OK, but discontinuation might mean that future software updates and improvements will not be developed. If BO can't maintain and support BV14/Avant NG Android platform they should make it open source.

  • Re: Speakers to 2 TVs

take a look at almando power link switch, it is capable of switching between 2 inputs . you might need to daisy chain each pair of speakers and connect one switch to each pair.

  • Re: Speakers to 2 TVs

for a minute I thought that you wanted to connect same speakers to 2 TVs, then solution would have been PowerLink splitter https://almando.com/index.php/b-o/almando-powerlink-switch-stereo.html however I think you meant just adding independant pair of speakers to these TVs, then you just need to specify what speakers you need to connect, and Steve form http://soundsheavenly.com/ will be able to help you with approrpiate cable.

  • Re: BeoRemote protocol documentation

Hello, has anyone made any progress with BeoRemote protocol integration? I've been playing with it for a few days based on the original post and now have set up my TVs and BeoSound Speakers to turn on, go onto standby, join specific source via Home.app on my iPhone. So far wasn't successful to change tv channels or radio channels or change volume to specific value on a tele. Only can do it with BeoSound 1/2 Many thanks for your insights. mczac

Hello all, challenge was to have BL 3 speakers matching anniversary edition BL5 in rose gold, which looks to me more like brushed bronze. I have removed the top part of the speaker, 3 parts in 2 materials (aluminum and plastic), plated it in copper then brushed it with abrasive giving circular brushing touch and then topped it with glossy lacquer to prevent copper from oxidation and highlight the metal structure. Here is the result:
