• Re: The one and only 🍻 thread

Hi Duels, Thanks! It's really nice, isn't it? I haven't yet sadly, I've had one a couple of weeks ago that was about 9 months old (was the August cellar release, and they leave it for 3 months before releasing anyway) and the taste and colour was noticeably different. Next time I go shopping I'll get a few bottles and leave one in the cupboard until it's ~18 months old and see what it's like!

  • Re: You think the headphones will soon have lightining or USB C ports?

Hopefully, they're using USB-C on new speakers (P2, A1, A2 Active, and BeoLit 17) so I guess it's only a matter of time until new headphones start using it too (was disappointed that the H9s/H4/E4/new E8s aren't using it but it'll probably happen soon). Using lightning would probably be a bad idea, USB-C is becoming more and more common throughout Apple's own lineup so I imagine they might be considering ditching lightning one day so B&O using USB-C instead would probably

  • Re: Would you upgrade to a H9 from the H7?

Yeah I really like them - they're really well built (just like the H7) and the sound quality is excellent. The noise cancellation isn't the best on the market (the Sony MDR-1000x's noise cancellation is considerably better but the H9's sound quality is far better than the 1000x). I personally wouldn't go with anything else (tried the MDR-1000xs, QC36s, and some Sennhesier pair but I can't remember the model number) and preferred the H9 to all of them because of sound and design

  • Beoplay H6: has something changed?

Hi all! I bought a pair of H6s a few days ago (second gen) - they’re my third pair of H6s now (had first gen, sold them when I got 2nd gen, and then sold those when I upgraded to some H9s last December - decided to get a pair of H6s for home listening). The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was the lack of carry bag (the cardboard inlay has been reshaped so there isn’t even a section for it now). And then I plugged them in and honestly they sound awful - absolutely nothing like I remember

  • Re: Beoplay E8 Bluetooth issues

You should take them back, sounds like a faulty unit - I got a pair today from my local dealer and neither the demo pair nor the ones I bought have this problem (used them with my iPhone 7 Plus) For what it's worth, I saw this post before buying so I also asked if they had anybody else have this problem and he said no (they did only just come out so you might not be the only one, but the pair I tried + the ones I bought seem fine).

    Y
This sounds encouraging, thank you! Any other thoughts on them? Are they comfortable to wear? And does the connection remain solid no matter how quickly you move your head around? :D
Yep they're excellent! Very comfortable and haven't fallen out (using the Comply ear tips), and audio hasn't dropped out when I shake my head around (wanted to try it at home before walking outside with them ). They sound excellent too, and they don't have any

  • Re: Question about new Beoplay E8 - pairing with two devices?

I don't think it's possible unfortunately. I'm fairly sure the H4s are the only headphones that B&O advertise as supporting multiple devices which is a huge shame when other manufacturers seem to manage to do it. Just tried with my E8s and am having the same problems as you
I have issues with their fit and looks. Also it sucks because the E8s are great in every other respect. It's annoying to have to return them just for this one thing, but it is very important to me.
The obvious solution is to just buy multiple pairs of E8s for each device

  • Re: Beoplay E8 Bluetooth issues

Got an update on the E8s and it's not good unfortunately; I've been using them for almost all of yesterday and today (around 10hrs each day with 30% charge left afterwards on Fri and 15% today so the battery life claims on the box are right!). I noticed yesterday that the right earphone sounded a quieter than the left around 70% of the time, if I pause and resume it sometimes kicks back in and works normally. I got home today and actually sat down and tried to work out if I have a broken

  • Re: BeoPlay E8 earbuds

1. losing pairing and having to re-pair with my iphone 7 2. volume difference left v right (right sounds a bit quieter) 3. call quality - I took a call from my wife on the train yesterday, and she couldnt hear my voice clearly but could hear all the ambient noise in the train. other than that I'm very happy with them.....
I think you're very forgiving! If any other brand launched with these issues they'd get slated...
