    Thanks guys, I struggle with the BL14, as I find the bass from the sub to heavy and punchy. I find it hard to set up properly and wonder if this is due to my lack of knowledge of setting up a sub or that it is the sub to blame. Switched from 14.4 to 18’s and much better sound. I set up the 14 sub also to test it with the 18’s but still do not like the heavy bass. It is not balanced enough to my ears. Now wonder what a 19 sub will bring me as I like the sub for movies. I want the sub to give me better

    Dear forum members, What is your opinion or experience regarding the best choice for a additional sub in a setup with BV Horizon - BL18 - BL3? Will there be a noticeable difference between both subs? Thanks for sharing your thoughts

    If you switch off the hub (soundheart) by using the button on the back, the system is completely off and the tablet (juke box) is searching for the hub, therefore the battery will drain, even when on the hub. You do not need to switch off the hub, it will automatically will go in stand by and the tablet screen will go off after few minutes. You can also go to stand by by long pressing jn middle of the volume ring. The system is designed to be in stand by modus all the time. The tablet will drain

    Hi, may I suggest instead of spending money on a essence mk2, you buy a M3 or M5 instead. More value for your money as my guess is that a single BL8000 will not give you a very nice sound (apart from the odd look). And if you really want full sound, sell the BL800’s and buy a Beosound 2 second hand.

    Hi, the dropouts of the converter are caused by the latest software update of the Moment. I experience same issues and there is a threat on the forum where it is discussed. I’m in the process of requesting a software rollback to the previous version. Contacted B&O support and awaiting the pushback to my Moment.

    I can confirm this also, had the BL8000’s (mk1) for years and liked the sound a lot, full and mature but just a bit to less bass. When I used them with the V1 tv, due to the sound engine of the tv, they were at their best and gave much more bass, but sounded bit over pushed at their limits. Switched to BL14’s but due to their design (only sub for bass, midrange and treble by satellite speakers) I never got the full sound the 8000’s gave me. I had to tweak the sub all the time for more or less bass

    Have you tried switching of GVA function? I asume that this keeps the device in constant semi active mode and maybe therefore you keep hearing the speakers

    You can use a BS1 from the current line, it uses own Deezer or TuneIn source, only need your phone to select numbers if you prefer. It can be used by one clic play. Also no interference when you are called on your phone. Also you can use a separate remote from the bang olufsen range.

As we have an update from our back office, unfortunately, a "downgrade" would be very complicated and could neither be done by us remotely nor by yourself. However, since today there is a service-software for this that could be loaded to the serial number by us.
