    Hi Paul, To my knowledge you can not edit the account from within the app, you need to do this from another device. Same goes for adding playlists etc. Earlier on the app would show FB friends and you could listen to their playlists, but even that function has long gone on my TV. Sadly the app quality is on a low level. The new Deezer app will bring you bit more pleasure.

  • Which cables do I need for Rj45 - Rj45 PL

    Dear forum members, Currently I have set up my Beolab 14 and V1 using Rj45-Rj45 Powerlink cables from Bosscom, This cables are very slim and I noticed that the cable connectors are very sensitive for distortion. Frequently I hear a low frequency humming sound that can be fixed by fittling with the cables. Can it be that I need shielded cables, and if so what cables are best for using? Cat 7 utp cabling will do the trick? Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me.

    Thanks to all the well informed members on the forum I was looking out to this day, as I hoped the new software update should fix the Deezer bug and make the new app availablr through the source button (instead of the webmedia app launch). Unfortunately this was not the case. Does anybody know what the software update fixed/added? Any ideas regarding the app fix? Would be so nice to use the multiroom / nl function on two V1's with the new Deezer app (old one is realy rubbish as it won't start

  • New Deezer App Beoplay V1 / BV 11

    Finally the new Deezer app for the V1 / BV 11 has arrived and it seems to work flawless. Now hopefully B&O takes it up at their side to update the software so that the Deezer app can also be selected through the source button ( i.e. A-Mem button on beo4). For now this way the old buggy Deezer app is stil activated. Does anyone on the forum knows if B&O will keep updating the 1gen smart tv software? The BV11 is still on sale.

    Sorry guess, I tried to upload an picture of the new M5 but the site is not responding. Will try later on. The M5 is for sale already at B&O dealer in Marbella. Saw a brown version and a silver version. First impression more Sonos than B&O design, unfortunately. But then again, that could change in short time after seeing it a few times.

  • Speaker group setup Beosound Moment

    Dear fellow forum members, Respite all mentioned problems with the Beosound Moment, I still in the process of considering to get one. The product keeps appealing me because of its design and functionality. I've asked my dealer about his experience with the failty software and he told me that from the 100+ devices he only had 5 customers that had such a bad experience with it, that he had to refund them. Anyway, for my particular set-up he did not have an answer so maybe someone on the forum has

    Visited dealer yesterday and he informed me that i there will be a new Beoplay multiroom speaker presented in short time; called M5. As he said it will be a round speaker with 360degrees sound -like A1?- and will be in the price range of around €500, including multiroom function. Positioned just beneath the A6, which has been lowered in price substantially to €699. He tolt me that B&O is focussing on either Bluetooth dives like the A1/A2/S3/Beolit range with no future multiroom function

    hi MM, Believe it or not but I bought the tv from the pricewinner of the latest B&O contest on FB. So I have to call the dealer tomorrow to find out what is wrong. Searching the internet I found out that the TV is stuck in self test mode and only way to get out of it is some secret code from the remote. The remote is linked through BT, now I need to find out the correct handling. Tried everything I could find but nothing worked. The TV is a nice piece of furniture for now

  • Horizon installation problem

    Dear forum members, I try to install a band new Beovision Horizon but encounter a major problem. The screen turns on and flashes in green/red/blue/white screens only. I paired the Beoremote One BT as it says it has successfully paired with the Horizon, the TV does not show anything but colored screen. Very disappointed as there is completely no problem solving part in either manual or website of B&O. Hopefully some more experienced folks on the forum can help me, that would be much appreciated
