• Re: Bang & Olufsen 1.9 beta
If I play my Beovision 11 and have my eg M5 and A6 linked to that experience, and tap on the A6 or M5 tile on the home screen I only get to the BV11 product info screen.
Same thing is happening here with my Moment and the non-beta app. Also happens when initiating playback from the Moment’s “jukebox”.
Thanxs B&O???? You are paying for a good working product. Now after 3 years the systems works flawless. Stop thanking B&O....you paid enough money for it
Well said. After years of being told I need to hard reset the thing every week to prevent it from getting unresponsive and that my network was responsible for all of the connection issues they finally fixed the software. I love the Moment now, but my God what horrendous customer service.

  • Re: Firmware upgrade Beolab 20

Not exactly related, but I'll take any excuse I can get to complain about B&Os ridiculous service charges and hidden costs: I was quoted about £600 (about $1000 before Brexit trashed the economy) for delivering a BV 14, setting it up and taking away the boxes (which I'm sure are reused/resold). Needless to say I didn't bother.

  • Re: If ever you felt like committing suicide?

“Your Internet is the problem” was the standard line given to all the folks (myself included) who bought the Moment only for it not to work because the software was flawed. I can only imagine that history is repeating itself again. If using a wired connection is an option I suggest trying that and then doing a firmware update to see if that helps resolve the problem.

  • H9i aren't that comfortable

I bought a pair of H9i's to replace my BOSE QC15 last year and so far I'm finding that they really hurt my ears. Their shape means that I have to wear them a bit differently to what I'd like in order for them to properly seal and keep out background noise; this causes me some pain in my right ear, and after a little while I end up with an aching scalp. Does anybody else experience this?

  • Re: Beosound Moment: Stuttering Playback

I’m stuck in the same boat waiting for B&O to push a fix. While I could get in touch with them and get them to roll it back to an older version (a hassle I should have to deal with for a product costing nearly 2 grand) I’d rather they just pulled their finger out and got on with it.

  • Re: Beosound Moment: Stuttering Playback

The general release version of the software still hasn't been fixed. In addition to the stuttering I've noticed that it's not picking up new additions to my collection (on a Mac Pro running Twonky). Last night I went to listen to an album on Deezer only for it to only play the first 30 seconds of each track. Then I switched over to DLNA thinking I'd get lucky and it started stuttering immediately. In the end I just turned everything off.

  • Re: Beosound 2

Though you can't do this today it is conceivable that B&O will add the ability via a software update. Personally I think that would be a good move on their part because it gives folks an excuse to buy more B&O and solves one of the biggest complaints about their multiroom speakers - which is that they're mono.

  • BeoSound 1 high pitched ringing/whistling noise

I've noticed that some songs when played on my BeoSound 1 seem to trigger a high pitched ringing noise and in extreme cases it sounds almost like a whistling noise that lingers on for several seconds. Has anybody else noticed this?

  • Re: BEOSOUND SHAPE : THE BEOWORLD REVIEW

If something like the Shape had been out when I bought my BeoSound 2 I'd have been seriously tempted to go for that instead. I'm sure a wall mounted Beolab 11 would make up for any bass deficiencies.
