• Re: Will this work ? Connecting Beosound moment to AVR.

    The moment and the AMP are not in the same room that's why i thought a receiver 1 might help. But how to power it on? Sorry if i have zero experience with powerlink.

  • Will this work ? Connecting Beosound moment to AVR.

    My setup consists of 5 zones. 1 independent zone : BV Avant NG / Beosound moment / BL20s 4 zones connected to a Crestron multiroom AMP. I am trying to connect the B&O steaming source so it can play in the whole house. Would connecting a WISA receiver 1 using this cable to the line in of the AMP do the job ? https://soundsheavenly.com/bang-olufsen/65-365-rj45-powerlink-compatible-to-twin-phono-cable-output-from-new-bo-devices-to-amps-receivers-etc.html#/length-5m Thanks.
That Altona doesn't distribute HDR video though? Correct me if I am wrong. That's part of the issue with doing a huge home project right now. No problem with distributing audio, but full fat UHD (4K HDR) requires something new like Atlantis Omnistream. I haven't read the full white paper on it, but will need to just to reassure myself that there is no compression going on there too. And I'll have to double check whether it does DV. So if distributing
I would say hold off on video distribution if you haven’t already purchased your equipment... I’m looking for the next gen - av over IP... with dedicated gigabit or 10G switches... I’m still not happy with compression. I’m waiting. This will be the next big thing... Best 2 I’ve seen so far is Atlona Omnistream and JAP - Just Add Power...
I already got the UHD PRO3 -10.2 Gbps - but I didn't really understand what you mean by
Crestron... are you doing every aspect of Crestron yourself? I was going to have this system running on the side but creating the GUI and display size for every device was becoming ridiculous... And every installation is unique to what you want to see on the displays, creating virtual buttons... It’s hard to make the GUI look like a million pound if you don’t know what you’re doing. And I would say I am not capable of installing Crestron by myself.
@IA64 Fingerprint scanner ?!?!? What the .... for may I ask ?
Yes that's the unit below. It has motion sensor, 130 deg. camera, fingerprint scanner and doorbell. I honestly hate keys. And Siedle is one of the few that has seamless integration with Crestron.
In total, it will be around 2-3 years and a million pound spent lol... Everything I wanted to do in terms of home automation, lighting, audio, video and everything else that was capable was coming in at around £300K - £400K in quotes for the whole house. I knocked it down to £100K by learning to do it all by myself... and I can put my hand on my heart and say I've done a better job...
I feel with you. I've been renotivating my very

WebOS and Android has no B&O feel to them. Also curtains are missing!
Small clarification - you do have the curtains on Android. At least my Avant NG has them. And for the record, I’ve been very happy with the TV, stability, and multi-room capability.
Very happy with the Tv ? no bugs, crashes, outdated Android Tv ?
