  • 4k video options

Am an old time B&O fan. Had one of the first Beosystem 1's in the US DFW area. Now have a Beosystem 3, with Panasonic plasma, 5.1 surround sound with B&O 8000's, 4000s, and center speaker (7.4). Using Beolink to a 3500 in my office, and an amp that drives some outside speakers. Relatively happy for all these years, but now am starting to have some issues. Regularly get hdcp issues without our Roku, also having some issues with resolution on some channels. Am looking at 4K options

Well, sounds like at this point it is a 'build your own' kind of setup, which will take us out of the B&O 'simplification' world. If that is the case, may just engage a local home theater company to switch out our Beosystem 3 for a manageable receiver, and see if there is some audio option to drive the B&O speakers from that receiver. Am now starting to think that 4K is close to being a reality, but see no practical option for shifting from my current setup to a 4K display while staying a B&O customer. Am not interested in spending $10,000 for a TV, and am not getting any kind of warm feeling from B&O that they care, or will have any 4K offerings that mortals can afford. So, is there any simple option for just using

  • Beosystem 3 and Transmitter?

I have a Beosystem 3, using Beolink to some speakers in other rooms. One of them is outside, and is an analog connection, which has some issues with various inputs to the Beosystem that are digital. Rather than get a digital to analog converter, I am considering changing my wired Beolink to the wireless option, but not sure how that will integrate with my Beosystem 3. Anyone have experience with that? Thanks in advance.
