• Re: BV11-BL18/19 Wireless issues

Last night it was very warm in my house and I too was having issues with the Receivers intermittently dropping out. The system has had intermittent drop outs before but last night was exceptionally bad. Temperature could easily be the issue as last night was the warmest of the year. I placed some feet on the Transmitter 1 and a fan behind it. Hope that solves the issues.

I've had a chance to verify the solution of adding feet (1" high, 1"round felt leveling pads) and 2 Antek True Quiet fans behind the Transmitter 1. With the above steps I have yet to notice any receiver dropouts. Last night was even warmer than my previous post.

  • Re: Bang & Olufsen WISA stability

I have a Beosystem 4 with a Transmitter 1 and 5 Beolab Receiver 1s. I've owned the system for 1.5 yrs. I have had numerous random dropouts (Speakers power off out then back on moments later). The situation appeared to be associated with heat. See where another user and myself have attempted to rectify the problem. After placing feet on the Transmitter 1 and installing two 120mm quiet fans behind the Transmitter 1 I haven't experienced

  • How to quickly exit Beosystem4 setup menu with BEO 4 remote.

I have a Beo4 remote and a Beosystem 4. I often play a Blu-ray music concert and go into the Menu/Setup/Sound/Sound Modes/ and select Music. But it would be nice to know if there is a quick way to now exit the selection process rather than having to keep pushing the Back button. My Beo4 remote is the version with the joystick. Thanks

  • Re: Beosystem 3 - For Audio Processing
I've done this with an Oppo BluRay. Send one HDMI to the panel (3rd party) and one to the bsys3. No problem with that.
Thanks, mjmedlo I glad to hear that works as I have considered that option as well with the new Oppo UDP-203. One of my concerns is timing issues between audio and video when the TV has to do upscaling. We'll see how that plays out.

  • Re: Beosystem 3 - For Audio Processing

I too would like information on this topic. I have a Beosystem 4 which has been confirmed by B&O not to pass 4K so in its future I would just like to pass audio to it. I'm confident that it can be done. One item I have been considering is the HDFury Integral which can separate the audio out of the HDMI stream. I may have to combine it with the HDFury Linker. HDFury has a new model in the works which may combine the two. If anyone has had success at just passing 5.1 audio please post. Thanks

  • Re: Oppo 4K UHD Blu-Ray Player Released

I bought the 203 and am using it with a Beosystem 4 via the audio out HDMI connector of the 203. Very easy setup that the Beosystem 4 prompted me through. Watched John Wick 2 and WOW the audio was fantastic. I continue to be startled in some of the scenes with gunfire. Incredible dynamics. I haven't paid much attention to Atmos as I don't want more speakers and I don't believe it would be a significant improvement in my environment. Happy with the Beosystem 4.

  • Re: Marketing to the over 35's..... Help!

I might look at teaming up with a real estate agent. For people in their 35+ years they would look at certain homes. Placing a working demo into a show home/open house (with someone who can demo it) would show how B&O could fit into their lives and might drive customers to your storefront. Of course it would have to be a small setup, nothing elaborate, but something to give the prospective customer a taste. Wireless products would seem to be ideal.

  • Re: How to connect A/V 7000 > Beomaster 5500

I greatly enjoyed my AV7000. Now gone. Mine had great sound. I had a Pioneer Laser Disc player connected to it. One of my discs was Strictly Ballroom. When Fran's father does the Paso Doble the heel clicks on the flooring sounded amazing. Its been only recent with a Beosystem 4 and Beolab 9s that I've been as impressed with the dynamics of sound in movies. The AV7000 also has a separate IR mini stereo jack input for an external IR receiver. My AV7000 was in a closet but with the external

  • Re: Has anyone updated Beolab Transmitter 1?

I went ahead and tried to update the wireless software on my six Receiver 1s. I followed the B&O Instructions. I did see the PL status light come on green then did flash to red for a couple of seconds, followed by a couple of seconds of flashing green. This matches what the instructions says will happen. Next the PL status light is to flash red and the Transmitter 1 will turn off. Mine PL status light turned solid green and stayed that way. The Wireless Indicator on the back remained a solid
