Not true. Internet Sharing is there and works just fine on my Late 2013 MacBook Pro with latest software updates.
And this was the post I was referring to (pardon me, I could not find a way to edit my previous post)...
The macs don't support internet sharing anymore. I think you need a Mac pre 2009 for this. And Internet sharing on macs was real ***.
• Re: Beosound Orbit - this is why we love this brand ๐Ÿ˜€

I was quite pleasantly surprised to find a thread about this concept and I love reading your thoughts on it so far. I am one of the students of the group who created and built this prototype, and I thought I'd explain a little bit why it is how it is.
Watch the original vimeo. Notice how all those light projections show on the hand from some projection point above? Notice that ugly bracket bolted to the rear of the table but mostly kept out of shot? Does it carry

Thanks for all of your kind words, much appreciated There's another project we're doing with the company, that's still ongoing and I can't share yet what we've been working on. This collaboration has been a fun experience for someone like me who's very new to the world of Bang & Olufsen. I don't own any of their products, but I have a feeling that I've caught the BeoBug during this spring...

Whatever you may think of it, I do encourage to look beyond the physical prototype you see on the video: that the prototype in itself is not the concept, but just a way to exhibit and evaluate ideas behind it – in this case, how extending the display and interaction outside the physical bounds of a music player device might work. If you hate how the moodwheel looks or if you think the cardboard construction is ugly, that's fine, so do we. The important thing when looking at stuff at this

  • Re: Product Wishlist?

A B&O smartphone would be really interesting. It would be a step further from the current arrangement where you have B&O apps that you run on your iPhone (for example). On one hand, you get a lot of functionality with those apps, but I feel like having to go through the process of unlocking your phone and launching them to use them creates unnecessary friction to the user experience. The B&O phone would be contextually aware and talk to all of your other B&O devices, so you don't

  • Re: Connecting Beoplay A9 to AV Receiver

Here you can find links to the BeoPlay A9 FAQ (1st and 2nd generation), which has answers to at least some of your questions: 1. Indicator lights legend for 1st generation and 2nd generation A9. 2. The Beoplay app is not supported with the A9. 3. Maybe someone else can shed light on this one.
Also, ceiling mounted speakers that were motorized that I think were B and O and also a glimpse of what I think is an in wall B and O sub? I seem to remember a three piece product like that but do not see it on the web page now.
Are you thinking of the BeoLab 15/16 combo? It's still there on the old site. http://www.bang-olufsen.com/en/sound/loudspeakers/beolab-15-16

  • Re: Speaker grill reupholstery

I'm currently building a set of speakers with a fabric cover on the front. I had very good results using a hot glue gun in attaching fabric to 3D-printed frames. The glue sticks nicely to both the fabric and the plastic. I've found the working time to be just long enough for attaching the fabric but short enough so I don't have to hold it in place for more than a couple of seconds. Might be something to consider.

  • Re: Flash your B&O - new thread!
Did B&O change the coloring scheme of the H3? I bought one of the first ones in black and they had a golden colored B&O logo. Yours's looks grey/white/silver!?
Hmm, that's interesting! The logos on mine are grey, yes. Also looking at the pictures on B&O website, the metal is a lot closer to the ANC version's 'gunmetal grey' than the 'black' they show on regular H3 page, but maybe that's unintentional.

  • Re: Flash your B&O - new thread!

I was looking for new earbuds and a friend of mine was looking to sell his new-in-box H3s – a match made in heaven. I think they look and sound just lovely. I was originally interested in the Natural version, but it turns out the black is also really nice in real life, almost 'space grey' like Apple devices. Speaking of which, I previously used Apple's in-ear headphones (so not the standard EarPods). These are quite an upgrade in every way Everyone has to start somewhere, huh? This
