    Update from me ... After a long wait, Beocare agreed to roll me back too ... and this seems to have fixed the issue. I played continuous Deezer streamed media for 3-4 hours last weekend, with no stuttering. Same general conditions, and some the same albums too. According to my Moment the versions I'm running are: 2.2.31594.26265250 I've disabled auto-update and will continue to monitor, but for now I am happy. However, I have fallen foul of the fallout between TuneIn and the BBC

    That's odd ... it's clearly not available for me in the UK, either inside the B&O app or B&O device UI, or inside TuneIn's own app. Very bizarre that it's available overseas, but not for (this) domestic licence-fee paying citizen. I can Bluetooth from the Sounds App of course, but the alarms and multi-room were really rather handy. Given the amount of noise online I would hope this can be resolved and restored,

  • BBC & TuneIn dispute

    Anyone else noticed that the Nationwide BBC Radio Stations - 1,2,3,4,5 & 6 - have all been withdrawn from TuneIn, and hence no longer available inside the B&O App to stream to endpoint devices? For many years we've enjoyed BBC6Music as an alarm on our Beosound 1, but as of yesterday all we get is a generic message about the station being unavailable. There seems to be a dispute between data exchange between BBC and TuneIn, with neither willing to budge ... leading to the withdrawal of

    Totally agree. My rollback has been agreed by Beocare. I'm travelling at that the moment (ha!) so I can't verify if it's happened or not, but will update the thread when i'm back. Tom

    I'm still waiting for BeoCare to respond. I have supplied my Serial Number and SW version, and they have escalated to "the Back Office" to see if this is possible. To be fair, this moment is only used occasionally, so I'm not in a burning rush ... but it all feels a bit disjointed and unconnected on their end. If I do manage to get a rollback, I'll disable auto-updates for a very long time indeed. Will let you all know how I get on

    Thanks Beojeff - that makes sense. The moment is (now) integrated with a BV11-55, sharing WISA speakers. Will Beocare respond, even if the Moment is out of warranty I wonder? Such a shame, having waiting so patiently for the v1.x software to finally be revved to v2 to fix so many of the launch issues, it was finally a stable and usable system that met expectations. T

  • Beosound Moment: Stuttering Playback

    Recently moved house, during which my (previously working) Beosound Moment has been boxed up for a few months. Setup in the new house, and it ran a software update, and now Deezer playback has an intermittent stutter on some tracks. Hard to pinpoint what causes it, and skipping a track 'cures' it as-it-were, however it's not an acceptable cure. I remember reading that a recent software upgrade was causing this issue for others, but dispute searching I cannot find the relevant posts. Could

    I have an early-example Core, integrated into a BV11, which controls BL18's and a 19 sub ... AND a first-gen BS1 in the kitchen. Multiroom works well - either via the App or via the BS1 asking to join via a tap on the top surface. My speakers are around 7m apart, though in separate rooms, with the BS1 on a Wifi connection. I don't experience any sound delays in ordinary use when in multiroom mode. Not sure if there are later versions of the Core that support Airplay 2, but there are later

    The firmware on Beolab's connected via WISA via a TR1 - are NOT updated automatically over-the-air. There is a firmware update procedure which involves downloading the latest firmware onto aUSB stick, which is stuck into the back of the TRA, re-booting the TR1 into a mode which will send the firmware to the WISA-connected speakers. It's not for the faint-hearted, as there's no screen on the TR1, so it communicates though a series of coloured/flashing LED states. It takes quite a bit of
