I bought a Loewe 5-65 with the table stand and speaker for £4,990 today at Richer Sounds.
Welcome to the rebel club. Let us know your experiences in the other forum that I started on the Loewe BILD and B&O integration. http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/28501.aspx
Anyone have an inside scoop? Will there be an Eclipse 77?
No scoop but I hope not with the current design (with the current speaker bar running across the screen). It will look really a bit out of place with 77 inch screen 😉
So I think I think I am slowly inching towards a decision between: 1) one of Avant or BV14, OR 2) Eclipse, OR 3) Horizon with the intent to upgrade again in 2019, OR 4) the Almado/ LG solution at 65”, OR 5) the Almado/ Loewe solution at 77”
Your post made me and wife smile a bit. Good luck working through the choices. On your choices list, each one is actually a good choice in their own way and hardest part for you will be to land on one. I only
Well, not impressed by the look (it’s a simple panel with a wee speaker appearing), the built quality (plasticky screen/back with extra cloth and mat grey stand - nothing special at all
@BeoGreg No worries if Loewe is not to your liking.I, on the other hand think that materials on Loewe are way better than Eclipse (Standard LG C7TV). As these things are always a matter of personal taste, we are all correct in our subjective opinions
That LOEWE-thing is a killer. Picture, sounds, streaming...Everything is so easy and done within seconds. That´s what I call smart-TV.
I am not surprised at all. Loewe has all the right specs and their Operating System (Ventavision) is a world class act. TV operations are so intuitive and easy. I am not even using all the features regarding built in Recording (Even though BILD 7 has built in 1TB disk) etc. as I do not subscribe to Cable / TV service
My heart says : go for the Eclipse, it’s maybe the last tv with a B&O sign on it and does what you want (single remote/puc/stand/light control) with superb picture and sound.
My advise will be to go for Eclipse. I am not so sure on anything major that can come from B&O considering that they have no internal capabilities any more. On the picture side, there is just no comparison for the OLED screen versus the LCD / LED. OLED wins hands down. Just
True, i was really looking forward to getting a bs9000 mk3 but since it can’t be integrated iam hessitant to get one.
I would recommend not to go that way. Not just because of integration issues but if anything happens to BS9000, there are many parts that are not available. I was also looking at a unit some time back and that is what I got from the local B&O service center in Boston (Independent shop).
Hey svinaik, I just tried the eclipse with the beolab 50, and I could adjust the Beolab 50 lens to narrow or wide very easy from the beoremote one, So I was wondering what do you do to make this happen on your setup?
Hi Emil I rarely use the Wide lenses setting because my room is pretty small but if I need to make any adjustment on BL 50, I only use the B&O App which is very simple and intuitive to use and gives much more control over all the possible

Justasyou: Hi svinaik. Nice tv i saw it to last week just hope no problems with it since i heard that the Loewe OLED sometimes break down. I want to buy one for my house in France to but i hesitate for now Have you made good arrangement,s just in case it does not work? @Justasyou I honestly do not know where you heard the Loewe BILD can break down. On the contrary, I think that Loewe BILD are probably the best built TVS. The panels for all OLED TVs worldwide come from LG and in some of the reviews
