• Re: Apparently, the surround decoder in Loewe TVs is very basic
Based upon my personal experience, I find the Loewe processing of vocals far better. Too many times on my 10/11/7-55 I had to wind up the volume to hear the speech, only to be then deafened by the subsequent action. I’m sure based upon what the original poster said I’m missing out on some audio functions, but if does pretty damn well for a system costing £8,000 less. I can’t speak for the Eclipse of course.
I can also confirm
In you case svinaik, how many chooses did you have? if you wanted a 77" then you could choose a AVANT 75, but thats LED and in my view not worth it when you can choose OLED.
Totally agree with you Emil...That is very true. LED 75 was not a choice for me at all. To be honest, I did not start looking at 77 inch OLED but when I realized that I can get 77 inch Loewe at the same price as 65 Eclipse, any other thought was irrelevant for me. In the end, we
my take is that while premium you still buy with some value-for-money consideration, even if lesser then with a mainstream products, luxury stuff you buy because you can and you will and you love it
Your comment is fairly true but somewhere you are assuming that those who choose to buy Loewe (or Premium brand in your words) "cannot" buy B&O. It is quite the contrary at least for many of us who owns loads of top of the line B&O stuff
Loewe does a good job, but they do not have all the functions and do not use as expensive materiels.
Which particular material did you find in Loewe which is less than Eclipse ??. I own a Loewe 7.77 and have very closely looked at materials used in Eclipse & Loewe and find actually Eclipse has lower quality material in the back. Front is all screen so it does not matter as both ought to be the same. On rotating floor stands, Loewe has very classy

Wow... Is the LG Innotek USB stick already available in Europe ?. Please let me know as I would like to buy BL 18 speakers for my son’s LG C7 OLED. That set up will be just fine without the B&O Sound Center.
Same with audio, when you find that mildly lossily compressed audio sounds the same as unprocessed audio for all but extreme cases, it makes a lot of the arguments for ever more fanatical and low level changes kind of silly,
Hi Jeff Agree with you on overall basis but even in this time of ever improving basic stuff, there are ways for truly innovative companies to come out with differentiated products. Along with Home based system, I am also a portable sound fan
it might be possible to make a ‘new Sound Center’ to use with any 3rd party tv (which has ARC etc....).
If this is true, I am thrilled. Would love to add B&O Sound Center to my Loewe Set up. Loved the sound from B&O Sound Center from Eclipse and have been hoping against hope that B&O will offer their sound Center as stand alone offering. If you have any influence on them, please ask them to offer the rotating stand also in addition
Life could not be better, watching England win 6-1 on Ecllipse 55 4k HDR BBC iplayer on a Sunday afternoon with surrounding BL18s.
It was truly a great game. I was fortunate to watch it on 77 inch and almost felt the emotions. OLED are such a blessing. It almost feels real.
but when was the last time B&O released a tv with no lacks or flaws on the release? The original Avant?
For me it was BV9-50. It was everything what makes a person aspire for B&O. Design, Integration, interface, Sound, Picture above anyone at that time and so on and so forth. I still have it and refuse to part with it even though my dealer was enticing me with some offers for my BV9 & BL5. For me personally, I love the BV9+BL5 just as much as my

Just so that Fan boys do not think of us in the other camp as one dimensional..... Things I do like about Eclipse in that order. 1. Sound Bar (Nothing in the world can match up as pure TV sound). 2. Design (Sound Bar at the bottom is cool). I would have preferred the sound bar length to be within TV dimensions but not a big deal. It is still beautiful. 3. OLED picture (This is not Eclipse unique feature but since I am on a positive trip about Eclipse, it deserves to be mentioned) 4. B&O Stand
