• Re: Beocenter 7000

Not directly. But with an attenuator from Sounds Heavenly, it’s possible.

  • Re: Beogram advice

I’d go for whichever model I liked the look of best, and I do like wedges. Also, I hate selling stuff. So I’d go with the 3000.

  • Re: Beolink 5000 E-Ink screen repair / mod

I’m interested. I rarely use a system that uses the Beolink 5000 but I’m all for supporting keeping these remotes in service. My favorite of the smaller 2way remotes

  • Re: B&O Beogram RX2
Hi Saint, I want to do the same thing, but I have a recently repaired and tuned with new soundsmith MMC cartridge Beogram 5000 connected to the Beomaster 5000. (I also looked into the AT, but am hoping I can find a purer way to do this. I want my digital recording to be as hi fidelity as possible, even picking up the pops and scratches that might be on my records.) I could: 1. Get a pre-amp connected to RCA cables from the Beogram and an analog to digital converter as

  • Re: Semi functioning 8002

This isn’t the best place to start into audio repair hut a fabulous turntable after it is sorted. Take lots of pictures before and during your recap. There are mistakes on the polarity printed on the board, replace caps as they were with the same specs. Lots of opportunities for making things worse. Be mindful of the processor and treat her like the fragile princess that she is.

  • Re: Beogram RX2 what Preamp?

There are so many preamps under $500 that will make your mmc3 sing beautifully in this setup. Trying several of them for yourself is the best way to find what you like since it sounds like you appreciate music this way

  • Re: Beomaster 4000 good for repair practice?

Hello, the BM4000 is an enjoyable quality receiver. In my opinion, you will regret using it as a starter learning project. Your BM 4000 is currently in a place that can be repaired with moderate knowledge and skill or with simple mistakes, it can very quickly be in a condition that is repairable only by a skilled and experienced technician. Soldering practice is best on a throwaway board where you practice removing and reinstalling components. Solder is removed with a solder sucker or copper wick
Hello Beogrowler, can you tell me where you got the new idler wheel from? I think mine is causing some speed issues for my Beocenter 3500 so I'm thinking about chaning it. Cheers!
From Martin at Beoparts.com
