  • Re: BeoGram 4004 - Creating a full set

Yes, you are going in the right direction, in my opinion. I really enjoy these setups. Both the Beogram 4004 and Beomaster 2400 will need servicing of a few age related parts if this has not been done in the past to work their best, something to keep in mind. Both the sets of speakers you mentioned will also work well with this setup. Original stands will make either a little nicer, choosing will be a matter of room size and sound preference. Personally I would buy both if they are reasonably priced

[quote user="BeoFrederic"] I really like.the sound of my H7’s: balanced, a musical bass, ‘open’ or ‘airy’ if that isn’t too subjective. I can listen for hours without fatigue. I might be traveling soon - long air flights. Looking for headset with similar sound signature as the H7, but with active noise cancellation. Thoughts? H9i? H8i? Or non-B&O? How does it work when you don’t use the hub and use the rj45/3.5mm cable right to the S8?

  • Re: Beovox M70... one more time.

I compared a recapped set of both M70s and M75s for a month. I liked the build of the M75s but I preferred the sound of the M70s better.

If you like the look of the Beomaster 8000 and the sound of the Beomaster 4400, then a good choice would be an 80s beomaster 6000, in my opinion. I think a Beomaster 1900 or 2400 might be worth looking into also.

This one is a little underpowered with poor batter life for daily jar sealing use but I’ve done at least 5 sets of bearing with good results with

I just use a home jar vacuum sealer and it works. Here is how I did my last BG 3000 (like the 1202) repair but I don't have pictures of the sealing process. https://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/30994.aspx
