  • Re: Serene date has stopped to 2017!

OK, thanks for your fast answer - I didn't see this message. Actually I can't believe that... I've a B&O audio system from many years and I LOVE it, but I have some strange questions without any answers... With this Serene bug, I realise that B&O is maybe more inefficient than I never thought... The paradoxe is that a very cheap-*** phone at 10$ will have all this kind of full-basic functions, but a supposed high-grade brand like B&O is stupidely made...

  • Serene date has stopped to 2017!

Anybody knows why the date of my Serene cell phone has run out from the 1st of january (2017)? After this new year, I saw that the hour of my Serene was completely wrong. I checked the date settings and realised that the date was back on the year 2005 - something like reinitialised on the built date. I tried to change it, but it's not possible neither to go after 2016, nor before 2000... So, is it a bug of the system, a special setting to enter, or REALLY the calendar is valid for only 10 years

  • Re: Is the B&O brand enough to deal with the "big ones"

I had the same point of view: pass through the modern life of sound with my "old" B&O material. I wanted upgrade it and logically I searched for a B&O solution. However, the 3 B&O sellers I saw told me the same: keep your old B&O hifi system for a nice vintage wall sculpture, and for a real evolution, the best way is to install a Sonos! I was despited, and as I'm a dinosaur (I don't have any tab, or smartphone and I work on a Mac with system 9...), I refused that

  • Re: Keyring A9 remote

Maybe I can try to change the battery, because it's a new remote from a B&O seller, but was sold with the battery installed inside and maybe it's an old one...

  • Re: Keyring A9 remote

Yes I tried a VERY long hold, but doesn't work! It's only turning off the speaker in direct front of the remote but not the rest of the Masterlink system.

  • Re: Keyring A9 remote

For me it doesn't works like this. If I press and hold the audio button of the A9 in front of the speaker, it's turning off this one but the audiomaster is always on. I have to press once more in direction of the Beosound for completely turn off the system. My Beolink is connected with a Master Link distribution box. The central unit is linked with Powerlink speakers and I have 3 Beolab 2000 in other rooms. What you describe (press and hold) works for me with the red button of the Beo4 remote

  • Keyring A9 remote

From my experience, the A9 keyring remote is only able to switch off the B&O linked one by one... For example, if I push the general switch off button in direction of a Beolab 2000 (I have 3 in different rooms), the remote switch off THIS SPEAKER and nor the Beosound linked neither other speaker. Anyone knows if there is a possibility to switch off ALL the system Beolinked with this remote (like the red button of the Beo4 if we push it for 2 seconds) or if it's not possible at all?
