The press release just talks about connecting external speakers via WISA. Does it have Powerlink connectors for connecting non-WISA Beolabs?
Yes. I have updated the article at recordere.dk with many more pictures and specs on connections and more. http://www.recordere.dk/2017/08/bo-rykker-paa-oled-tv-beovision-eclipse/ /Lars
You are right on the button here, and as OLED or QLED gets cheaper I doubt that LCD will last I the AV arena
The current QLEDs is also just a LCD type display using quantum dot type backlighting. There is another type of QLED which is more like OLED. It may premiere around the year 2020, but then I assume it will take further years on for it to become cheap. /Lars
May be we can get pictures from recordere or another media at 10h?
10ish The press meating starts around 10h and last for a hour. Product reveals may be anytime between 10 and 11, but I assume the new products to be covered at the beginning (they usual do this). But yes, there will be pictures at recordere, when available.
Only apps available from Google Play is there, so no Danish streaming services, only Netflix. So for the Nordic streaming, an Apple TV is still required !!
There is another option as well. Android TV comes with Google Cast (build in Chromecast). All the streaming apps for smartphone and tablet that works with Google cast (and thats most of them) will work with the new B&O TV's. But then its not controlled from the B&O remote, but from the streaming
TP Vision has nothing to do with Bang and Olufsen. Philips used to deliver CRT monitors to spec of B&O for avant series.
The rumor this summer was that TP Vision. the maker of Android TV under the Philips brand, is the supplier of the electronics (logic board, video and computer) for all the 3 new TV's (BV14, Horizon and Avant NG). And that they make the Horizon for B&O. This TV is made in Poland, where TP Vision has their factory. But don't

TP Vision is actually still an european company. Made out of the old Philips TV-department. Its owned by TPV, but is not a chinese company as such. HQ, sales and deveplopment is in The Nederlands and manufacturing is in Poland. Horizon comes with B&Os design, loudspeakers, surround sound, powerlink, remote, wireless speakers ect. TP Vision contributes with the "motherboard" (video part, Android TV) and manufacturing. But no Ambilight /Lars Btw: All new models with Android TV comes the
