  • Beocenter 9000, 2 CX-100 Speakers, Cona Subwoofer and Essence Mark 1 for Sale

Hi, everyone! I have owned this equipment from new since the late 80's and early 90's. It has always been serviced by authorized Bang and Olufsen service centers in Los Angeles. I don't need it any more and would like to sell it. I have photos of it, but I have sent it on consignment to Bang and Olufsen Mainline, 163 E Lancaster Ave, Fl 2, Wayne, PA 19087, phone (610) 293-0204. It is fully packed up with proper bubble wrap, polystyrene and other packaging. I will sell all of it for $1200

  • Re: Bang&Olufsen manipulates App Store ratings ?!?

I absolutely agree with Razlaw. B and O has a long, honorable and unique tradition. Something to be preserved, not denigrated.

  • Re: If you could ask B&O to make one product just for you....

I still use the CX 100 speakers and a Beocenter 9000. I’ve used a Beosound essence to stream my music and the fidelity in a bedroom is really quite good. I’m not sure anything right now is as warm or as sympathetic to higher tones as this set up is. I also use a Beovox Cona as a subwoofer that’s out of sight as the bass. I have been looking at the Sonos amp to take the place of the Beosound essence and to give more power to the speakers. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

  • Beoplay A6, Chromecast built-in and Apple devices

I have a Beoplay A6. I’ve had it for 2 1/2 years. It’s been a wonderful piece of equipment and delivers a rich and full bodied sound. However, my iPhone 11 now won’t connect to the Chromecast built into it. I’ve been around and around with B and O’s tech-support, with Google tech-support, with Apple tech support and everyone blames the other one. The iPhone 11 will connect fine when I use a Chromecast audio dongle connected to a Beolit 15’s 3.5 mm audio line in

  • Re: A thousand thanks!

Steve, you provide an enormous service to the B and O community. Not only do your products work beautifully, the videos and your input teach everyone a great deal that we need to know. There is no source like you for it.

It does support Airplay. The problem is that you cannot use the phone other than to transmit music when airplay is working. Chromecast allows you to use the phone for all other functions, including text and voice. It works simultaneously. That’s what makes it so valuable and so useful.

Where can I find the Blu-ray of this movie? I would love to see it; I own a number of Dieter Rams’ watchesiand really like what he did.

  • Re: Beolit 15 aux input

Thanks for taking the time to post this. I’m using Apple iOS. I spent a couple of hours with Google and they were able to show me that their device is working properly. I’ve been had bang and Olufsen’s service department get on the line and they had me reset the software back to factory default on the Beolit 15. It didn’t really solve the problem, but the music sounds a little bit better. Still pretty muddy and the high ranges are not what they should be. I think I’m

I have also had this problem through the AUX input. Not only that, when I play music through Chromecast audio the quality is very low Fidelity. I have tried replacing the 3.5 mm cord with little success. Is that input just low fidelity or is there another problem? The Bluetooth signal and the sound quality are far superior than 3.5 mm input. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

  • Re: Sound quality Beocenter 9300 and RL1000 speakers

The new powered Beocreate with Raspberry Pi may also be an interesting experiment for using a rebuilt pair of CX 100 speakers, too.
