  • Re: BeoMaster 5000 Amplifier

Martin and elephants are correct; I owned all of these pieces and had a tangential arm Record player. I purchased the original 5000 receiver in 1980 and added the balance of the units over the next five years. They worked beautifully until 2013, when I donated all but the receiver in a graded it with a Beosound essence as I now use digital formats to play music. I actually regret letting go of the record player. The aesthetic and sound integration was unparalleled. The master control panel operated

  • Beocenter 9000 compatible with Beosound Essence Mark I?

I have a Beoenter 9000. I have had it from new and have had many good years with it. It is currently connected to a Playmaker. It took a long time to get the Playmaker to work properly but it does now. I can play music through my iPhone or iPad and it works with CX 100 speakers and a Cona subwoofer beautifully. I would like to substitute a Beosound Essence Mark I for the Playmaker as I think it is a more reliable and better product. Is the essence compatible in the same way the Playmaker was? I am

  • Re: Essence Wheelie Remotes

Thanks. It apparently only works for the Mark Two and I have a mark one. I think the newer products, like the a6, now allow that. My new A6 does, I wonder if there's some kind of software update. Probably not, in that I imagine the Mark one is no longer supported.

  • Re: Essence Wheelie Remotes

I have one of these, too. I cannot figure out how to set the tone for the Beale sound essence Mark one. I have a paired and the functions on the face of it worked fine. Does anyone have any insight into how to set the tone? The Beo set up app doesn't seem to have a choice for it.

  • Re: Why was Google Cast not added to the smaller Beoplay speakers?

So, if I understand you correctly, you can use Google cast with the Beolit 15? You just need to buy the Google chrome cast audio dongle and plug it in to the 3.5 mm Jack? Is that how it works? How good is the sound quality? Since it is going through a 3.5 mm Jack, is it reduced?

  • Re: New Beoplay H5, bluetooth

I have had essentially the same experience that Simon did. I have had tremendous trouble getting any of the typical in the ear phones to fit into my ear and stay in. That includes Jabra and Bose. These headphones, the Apple AirPods, were thoroughly tested before they were released to market. That's obvious to me in that they fit properly, convey rich, accurate sound and seem very reliable. They also have excellent product support and were clearly well thought out in the design phase. In some

  • Re: Delightful

The degree of enthusiasm and joy that these people display in this video is heartwarming. If this brand is going to survive, it will be because of the delight that these people have in these products and the joy in showing them off. It was such a pleasure to see this. I have been a fan of Bang and Olufsen my entire life and it is so reassuring to see this.

  • Re: Beolit 15 aux input

Thanks for taking the time to post this. I’m using Apple iOS. I spent a couple of hours with Google and they were able to show me that their device is working properly. I’ve been had bang and Olufsen’s service department get on the line and they had me reset the software back to factory default on the Beolit 15. It didn’t really solve the problem, but the music sounds a little bit better. Still pretty muddy and the high ranges are not what they should be. I think I’m

I have also had this problem through the AUX input. Not only that, when I play music through Chromecast audio the quality is very low Fidelity. I have tried replacing the 3.5 mm cord with little success. Is that input just low fidelity or is there another problem? The Bluetooth signal and the sound quality are far superior than 3.5 mm input. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

  • Re: Sound quality Beocenter 9300 and RL1000 speakers

I have used CX 100 speakers and a Cona subwoofer with my Beocenter 9000 for years. I had the speakers refoamed and rebuilt and they sound absolutely lovely. I don’t know if you can find those but, for a room no larger than 20‘ x 20‘, they are ideal. I use of Beosound Essence Mark I to stream the music and it works beautifully. Steve at Sounds Heavenly supplied all the cabling. Might be worth your time to look into. The Beolink 1000 remote can control all of it.
