• Re: Deezer HiFi

The way I understand this, Deezer HiFi will be available "via Chromecast". It would seem like this rules out any product that doesn't already support Chromecast. If this is so, systems like the M5 and Beosound 1/2 will get Deezer HiFi, while the Moment will not. Does anybody know if built in Chromecast support is a question of updating the software, or if it requires hardware that the Moment does not have? -h.
My dealer had an email yesterday saying the whole product range will be getting the Hifi upgrade next month
Perfect! Thanks! Just have to sit back and wait, then.
Interesting
Very. I have a few immediate yes/no questions, but I don't expect anybody can answer them at this time. The most important ones are: 1. Does this mean that existing Beosound Moments will get to stream Deezer HiFi? 2. Will this require a software update to the Moment? 3. Will Deezer HiFi be available in all countries (most interested in my own, of course😬)? I see the the Verge articles says that " Previously exclusive to Sonos, Deezer
3. Yes. From the support article: “Deezer HiFi is a high fidelity audio service available to users all around the world”
Didn't see that. Great! -h.
Will leave it alone for the night. Maybe tomorrow I have sound back again. You never know...
I did the software update late yesterday evening, but had to wait until this morning to try it. Dismayed at first, as the problem persisted. No change at all. I mailed this to Beocare and got the following reply: Hi Henrik, I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am about this. It seems to be causing some issues that you were running on a beta software prior to the

Well, I'll post it here if I get a time estimate. But my guess is they won't be willing to commit to a time table, which might be wise I suppose. • Re: The Beosound Moment Beta 2.x thread

Since we now know that this is a problem with the Moment, and not the Beolab 19, I'm posting this here instead of in the "Help - no sound playing from..."-thread... Anyway. Feeling down, and wanted to share. I just mailed this to beocare and copied in my dealer: Hi again. I am copying in my dealer on this, as a heads-up. Is it possible for you now to give an estimate of when you expect the problems with the Moment to be solved and an upgraded software to be available? After 11 weeks

  • Re: Help! - No sound from Beolab 19 playing from Moment
Can anyone confirm the above so I feel less alone?
No need to feel alone. Actually, I had the feeling that something had happened to the sound quality as well when I first started having problems with the 19. But I wasn't sure and I suppose I didn't trust my own ears, so I focused on the more obvious part of the problem: the connection issues. It's difficult to be 100% sure when you don't have anything to compare back and forth with, but I'm
But now my right 18 refuses to play anything and behaves very much like the 19 did: It is discoverable and plays the "locate speaker" sound, but no music. Tried resetting, rescanning, on/off...
Ok, after a bit more of experimenting: There is definately not anything wrong with any of the speakers. The problem has to do with the "channels" being broadcasted over WiSA by the Moment. Okay, we knew that from beforehand. But this confirms it
