• Re: BeoVision Avant 55 with BeoLab 5?
- now i dont know how to hook the besound up with the avant..
If enyone else wonders how this is done (like i did) it takes a beolink NL/ML converter to fix this problem. Although beeing quit expensive (not suprisingly..) its very neet - aslong as you have network connection between tv and converter the beosound (or anyother masterlink product) can be placed enywhere you like!

Hi New to this forum. Googled up "beosound 9000 on avant 55" and got to this thread. My stup to day is with avant 55 and beo5. But earlyer i had beosound 9000 hooked up with 10-40 and bl9. When using my old screen i could use masterlink to connect the 9000 - now i dont know how to hook the besound up with the avant.. Maybe i should start a new thread - but figurd i could ask here first.
Has anyone seen the BeoVision Avant paired with BeoLab 5 speakers? If

  • Re: Mic pinout BL90

As you mentioned, BL90 is supplied standard without the mic. Don`t know why i`m surprised though.. had to order one from my dealer. They do sound Incredible as-is - the only "downside" to the sound was bass performance. Happy to tell the mic did a good job! Now my only concern are the neighbors... First thing i did (after listeing to them for a while..) was to hook them up to the router. Played around with the app for a while now, but to do so the speakers must be switched off. Only then

After some consideration i decided to go with the best solution - runing cabels. And after spending a couple of weeks with the BL90`s Ive noticed something anoying.. Every now and then the "slave" speakers turns the sound off and on for about 1 second, and at 1 oucation the speaker turnd completey off. (had to take the power cord out and put it back in..) Have not yet been in contact with the store, as I was hoping this might "go away". Anyone know what the problem might be? Guess

  • Re: Mic pinout BL90

The speakers are bought from another country. Ex-demo pair. The mic was not included. (Recived the speakers 2 days ago) My local dealer did not have this type of mic in stock (or at least he could not find one) He would happily order a new one for me. But before i do, I might get the original mic shipped from the store the speakers came from (it should be included..) but due to holidays both in this store and at my local one i wont be abel to get in toche with them until monday it seems. Would realy

  • Mic pinout BL90

Hi, Need some help on how to connect a non B&O mic to the BL90. (do not have the original mic..) I`ve tried using the calibration mic witch was included with the Avant - but this has the minijack connection. So i tried cuting the minijack of and use an RJ45 plug to connect it to the BL90s. The measurements starts, but cuts off and tellls me mic singal is to low. I do have annother mic with phantompower and adjustabel sound level, but have not been abel to getting the mic signal high enough on

  • Re: BeoLink Converter NL/ML with speakers

Thanks for all the help everyone! There is one possible way to run cables. But not quit sure if its a good solution.. I could use the network cabels running through my flat. There is a walloutlet with 2xRJ45 connectors at the back of the livingroom. I could connect 2 Cat5 cabels from the TV into the "distrubution" "inlet" (don`t know how to describe this in a better way...) witch would come out close to where the speakers will be placed. How does the PowerLink signal cope with

The tv has WPL. Reciver One seems to be a solution. But if i understand the thread you linked to correctly they would only work in Line input on the speakers. This im assuming means they wont power on/off trough the tv? - thats why you would not suggest it? This turned out to be a bit more troublesome than i thougt it would be... without runing cables..

  • Re: BeoLink Converter NL/ML with speakers

Now im a bit confused.. I`ll explain in more detail. Today im using the Avant with Beolab 5 as main speakers. The BeoLink is connected to my network and connects the Beosund 9000 with the Avant. This week im expecting delivery of Beolab 90. These will be used as my main speakers. This leaves me with a pair of beolab 5 that i would like to use as back speakers. To do so i can`t run cables across the livingroom. The BeoLink is placed at the backwall of the livingroom making it a suitbale place to connect
