  • Re: Beovision 7-32 Mk 3

Depending on the SW on the 7-32 you might find issues with this HDMI copy protection *** (HDCP?) and content that is protected (e.g., Netflix, Amazon Prime). I ran into this when I hooked an ATV to the BV6-26. I have a similar setup (albeit with a BV6-26) and use a raspberry pi 4 running kodi to feed live TV and streaming content via DVI and analog audio into the set. No HDCP issues with this setup. And it's relatively cheap. regards Torsten

  • Re: Connect 4 B&O speakers to Beosound 9000

Hi Stefan, are you planning to have the BL8000s in a different room or in the same room? In the same room you should be able to plug the BL8000s into the extra DIN plug on the back of the 4000s. Be sure to tell the BL8000 where they stand (left/right) via the little switch by the plug terminal on the back. If you plan to use them in a different room, I would go for a Beolink Active connected to the BS9000 via a Masterlink cable. They can be had relatively cheaply on ebay these days. regards Torsten

  • BV7-32 and DVB-C/T

Hi, just got a used BV7-32 with motor stand and BL 7 at a very reasonable price. The TV was advertised as having a DVB-C/T receiver built in. When I go to Options->Tuner Setup I can indeed switch on/off TV (analogue) as well as DVB-C/T separately. So I assume the module is in the TV. Pressing DTV on the Beo 4 makes the TV switch to that source apparently (red leds say DTV). Obviously no programms as the TV is now connected to a new network and I should do a new tuning run. But how do I do that

  • Re: Beovision 6-22 Red Light Blinks in standby

Did you get anywhere regarding this? My BV6-26 has started to flash its red led as well. It works happily other than flashing it's red led. Any pointers anyone as to what that may mean and how it could be fixed?

I believe I fixed it. (Re) Set the BV6-26 to V.Opt 1 (which I believe is the factory default) - and voila: no blinking led anymore.

  • Re: Add PC command to an old Beo4

Yep - I figured that. My question was: is PC (like some other commands such as N.MUSIC) a "recycle" of an older command - and if so, which one? cheers -tb

  • Re: BV 6-22 med PS3?

Could be the resolution (try setting the PS3 to a smaller resolution) or HDCP maybe (a stupid system to block copying of content via HDMI). I managed to connect a raspberry pi4 via HDMI->DVI easily to the BV6. So in principle it works.

  • Re: BV 6-22 med PS3?

You probably need to check this - I can never seem to find a logic. My MacMini (running Kodi) runs well on the DVI port. The ATV doesn't - throws an error that the receiving end doesn't support HDCP. A raspberry PI running Kodi again works very well including Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. So - you need to check it, I'm afraid.
