• Re: New WISA SoundSend 7.1 AudioTransmitter

And what benefit would the Soundsend have compared to other already existing WISA transmitters, like the Axiim Link HD, which also suits my WISA-ready LG oled? Edit: already found my answer: https://www.digitaltrends.com/home-theater/wisa-wireless-explained/ Guess this system would be perfect for me... Only need 5 beolab transmitter 1's... Pricey....

So if I buy this Wisa Soundsend device, and 5 Beolab 1 receivers (maybe secondhand?..) and connect the Soundsend to my LG C9 Oled and all transmitters to my existing Beolab speakers (7.1 centre, 8000s front, 6000s rear) I would achieve full 'wireless' modern (dts, atmos, etc etc) surround sound, controlled with my LG remote and no hassle with additional surround receivers, etc? Or would this also work without a Soundsend? So only wisa Beolab 1 receivers? Because the LG C9 has wisa built in

  • Re: Eclipse or Core

I bought a complete Beovision 7-32 with beolab 7.1 and motorized stand secondhand for 200 euro. Used the 7.1 under my LG C9 oled and sold the beovision 7-32 with motorstand for 120 euro. So beolab 7.1 costed only 80 euros. Compared the 7.1 with the 7.2 (my dad has the 7.2 which I borrowed), sound was the same and 7.1 was a better size under my 55 inch TV. 7.2 is a better match under a 65 inch TV. Picture of my 7.1 (used speaker cloth to match my 8000's) :

You can choose whatever you like/fits under your TV. A extra Beolab 17, or a 7.1... 7.2... 7.4... I would choose something with the same sort of 'tweeter', so it matches your other beolabs sound wise and voices are crisp and clear.

And what about an almando multiplay surround decoder 2? This would suit al your needs! Connect it to your new LG GX with hdmi. You can connect all your beolabs, have 5.1 surround, streaming options, set distances, make audio-groups, etc etc. No stage needed, only a dedicated centre speaker like a 7.1 or anything (beolabs) you can place under the GX...

  • Re: Beolab 7.1 vs Beolab 7.2?

Done! Placed the Beolab 7.1 on a self made bracket to the wall and used the same 'speaker-cloth' on the grill, matching the Beolab 8000's. All wires directly invisible into the wall, going to the Playmaker, hidden underneath the shelf. Very happy with the result.

  • Re: Playmaker - setting bass and trebel

Yes, only way is to use a beo4: - Adjust bass/treble(downside is you can't visualise what you are setting, but it does work): select A.mem to control the PM, then go to list, select a.setup, hit go (on older Beo4's without A.mem I think it is called A.tape). Then you see bass. Hitting list again changes it to treble. Listen to the sound, so you can hear the differences between the made bass and treble settings. This is because you can't see the selected adjustments. Bass and treble have

  • Re: Flash your B&O - new thread!
I have always wanted a BL3500 or a BS35 for our bathroom, and the other day I found a relatively new BL3500 with SW version 3.1 (supporting a.aux) at a price of only 120 EUR. An offer I could not say no to :-)
Verrrrrrry nice! A relaxing shower with some 'Ibiza lounge music' will never be the same again I have exactly the same in my bathroom, connected to a Chromcast-Audio, which I placed 'inside' the Beolab 3500:

Loudness would maybe solve your 'problem', but indeed, the Playmaker doesn't have the loudness option. I tried..... Maybe you can borrow a Beo4 from someone??? I have 4 Beo 4's lying around, only use 2 (but I live in The Netherlands)...
