• Re: New B&O TV BeoVison Harmony

I didn’t see this coming. That’s quite a tv at 77”... Anyone knows what OS this is running? While folks on this forum don’t seem to like it, android tv seems to be established as standard. Can the speaker be used speaker-only in “closed” position. i’m still dreaming of a hybrid tv that works as audio speaker and then turns into a tv. Did B&O make this happen or do i need to look at a 77” black screen when listening to music?
Here, it works well. Connected with a NL converter to my BV9 and Beogram 6500 connected to the sensing Line-In.
How do you make us of the sensing line-in? With the B&O app having matured a bit, where do you see the advantage of a moment over an ipad with b&o app? This would give me spotify and i don’t need it he huge (ugly) charging station. Only advantage i can think of is the moods wheel, which seems quite cool. Was always hoping b&o may bring
Hi, I removed the piece of steel which is spot welded into the middle of the case by a combination of - drilling the spot welds - hammer and chisel (between steel plate and chassis) - rocking the piece of steel back and forth until it breaks.
Need some more help for the “surgery” ;) I can see how the steel is welded at three different parts of the case (side wall, middle bottom, right bottom). I may have already done the drilling part? Did you just use the

  • Re: The LG 2019 OLED gets WiSA-based wireless Dolby Atmos audio.

Just saying that the LG solution is not attractive to me and does not provide a good solution to use wisa beolabs. At least not for me. It brings me to three potential solutions that would be attractive to me (as said, the LG solution is not). 1) Some tv maker brings a wisa enabled television that allows to use the tv speaker as center speaker. If not LG, maybe some other tv maker may do at one point. 2) A center speaker / soundbar that has wisa and allows to build a 5.1 system 3) Going back to good

  • Re: De-cluttering our B&O: Does it spark joy?

I love my BV5 (HD) and actually even use it more than any of my other modern TVs. Having said this, not even sure whether I could de-clutter it given its weight... Also love my BC2 although I never use it. Same goes for my HDR2 and - to a lesser degree - also for my white Beolit 12.

  • Re: BeoSound 1 GVA software update 1.2

It has never been possible to redirect a casted session (= no joining within the B&O NL). This is not new with the BS1/GA - blame Google for that.
I’m not blaming anyone. I just think it’s a bit stupid and it gets complicated for the normal customer to understand the difference between a casted session versus the built in source.
Agree it is complicated. And even more so would really be great for

  • Re: BeoSound 1 GVA software update 1.2

Just one year old... And in our world of B&O, I wouldn't expect anything to materialize as soon as one year. So, there is still hope. The link also spells out explicitly that it would only allow distribution to B&O devices that also support google cast. Anyhow, you are typically well informed, which makes me worried. Still hope you are wrong this time... It would be really great to have the beauty of NL (tap device to join), while at the same time the GVA and the convenience of CCA more
Here speaker setup changes if the WiSA - 5.1 speakers are to be activated. (Her BeoLab is not used) LG's TV speaker becomes disconnected. According to what was to be written. All LG-2019 models will receive WiSA integration.
So, this confirms that the LG internal speaker cannot be used as center speaker? If so, that wouldn’t be interesting for me as that’s what’s always been the #1 selling point for the b&o tvs.

I believe that both Ravsted and I have an HDR2 as well. Judging from the photo, it seems he has found a way to cut out the steel plate in the middle?

Great, now i just need to find a metal grinder. That’s a cool new project :) One last question. Did you find any way to play music to your BVs without using your remote / turning on the tv? I’be been looking for years to find a way to play music via CCA / AP to my tv speakers without the effort to use my remote. It sortof works with a ML/NL, but it’s poorly supported by the b&o app. Does your datalink rpi setup allows you to do something like this?
