• Re: Beolab 3500 software update.

I don't now if my answer is relevant to your question: Asked my dealer a while ago (again) if my Beolab 2000 could be upgraded to accept 'A.AUX' from the IR-command. This time he contacted B&O and told me: there is no software update availlable for the Bl 2000 as it was with the BL 3500. So I keep on pushing my bedrooms BV 3 into A.AUX and then walk to my bathroom to push the 'ON' button of my Bl 2000 in the bathroom. Keeps my health in shape
Thanks Chris, for the B&O fitness tips ;-) I know that the Beolab 2000 are old, but it would be nice to upgrade their functionality. I guess there are more than enough of them sitting some where in homes waiting to arrive in the 21st century. :-)
Indeed, its such a very fine sounding loudspeaker, fits so nicely in a lost corner of my bathroom... • Re: BeoSound Essence - First impression

Very informative inside pictures of the Essence., and a great review, good feedback. Everyone benefits from what we member users report with our findings, so this is exactly the kind of information what I’m looking for in a forum. Now that I know that BnO integrated BridgeCo’s JukeBlox technology in their ‘Essence’ player, I presume that they will use BridgeCo’s JB platform to connect all audio systems to home networks and the Internet in their upcoming product designs

  • Re: BeoSound Moment
B&O expect to launch the Moment in early 2015, not this summer as originally planned. Roger
I find it very disappointing to read the above. If B & O again is missing the boat for the launch of this player, then I fear serious for the survival of this company in the long term. The launch of new products like the WISA speakers must absolutely be accompanied by an accompanying music system, to get you to buy. Existing loyal audience and new customers will

  • Re: The BeoSound Essence listed

£1500 for a glorified remote, thats looks a lot of money to me. (Is this the complete selling price, or + for the wooden case). As with the BL18 lamellas) I have a feeling that we, users of the old ML will be disappointed. B&O has embarked on a new path. And now I look forward to the first specifications, to the extent that B & O this releases. Yes I know, I look with caution to the arrival. Hopefully the built will be on a solid platform, in looking at their BM5. Official support for

  • Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?

There are those CDs when they are past, you find yourself wondering, "Do I have turned on him or not?" On this cold, rainy and windy summer day, I thought this could cheer me up a bit. Listening now to this new album from Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters on Qobuz HiFi. Diane Blue's jazzy voice fits the instrumentals. Delicious layback this lady sings. But nowhere you hear the ferocity of the last CD of 2013 "Just For Today". In knowing the musicians could do so much better

  • Re: PlayMaker How Does it Sound? How Does it Compare?
The audio quality is far superior to the Airport Express. A big improvement. I'd also say the same audio from a CD, played via the BeoCenter 2, sounds much better streamed via the PlayMaker, which says a lot about this device. It does disconnect occasionally, but if you give it a static fixed IP, this helps hugely.
The PM is indeed one of the best solutions to stream audio on today's market. The AE supports lossless CD quality playback, but not high

  • Re: To Days The Day :-) The New Avant...What Do you Think Of It?

Update on my order of a Beoremote One: Dealer called me last week about my order for the new remote: Although he could order the new remote in the system it was not delivered last week... He made a telephone call to now why. A nd the explanation was: currently has the factory no ability to deliver additional remote's, the production number of this new remote is just enough to meet the needs of the new avant. Delivery of additional remote's could take months or maybe earlier. They try to do

  • Re: Welcome The Digital Revolution
I never would store any private things (music, photos, files, documents, etc.) somewhere at a cloud provider. What do they do with my data? I do have a private cloud at home, where i can access all information from any device. But i don't use access from the internet. Never! My data is my data is my data. So using all those streaming crap (Spotify, Napster, etc.) gives me only the possibility to listen to music. But it is not my music. What if i change to another
