BRONZE MemberHey, thanks for having me join your community!
I just aquired a Beosound 9000 and it have an issue I was wondering if anyone could help?
Sothe system stands on a stand, I spent all day get it to go in CD slot 1.
I ran test mode first, lots of errors, “clear all” no errors.
Then I figured it was in CD slot 6 so I had to power of after pressing to change CD slot, this lets it freeslide, so I pushed it up to slot 1 and powered back up.
It stays here and plays the CD.
Now the issue, when I try to change it to slot 2 it drops half the way, powers down and whithout pressing power it drops another half by itself, it goes like this all the way to the bottom still thinking it is in CD slot 1.
So basicly as it sits now I can only use CD slot 1.
There are 2 plastic knobs aluminium side right/left? The left one is broken off, would this cause issues? Should be some laser to stop the slider if a hand comes in, well this does not work!
I started to dissasemble glassand top of laser, but I a not sure what to look for or what to do so I thought better to ask.
Sorry for a long poste, really hope to get some help-_-

BRONZE MemberI did open the other part aswell, Ifigured it has to be the carousel motor being faulty.
I will try and order a new from Beoparts, should probably test this one first, any ideas what volt to use?
