Hi all, I have been a member of this forum for a short time but find all the threads very helpful so thank you very much. I currently have a pair of 6000's and soon to pick up a pair of 8000's. I am currently running them via a Sonos Connect as I have Sonos speakers in different parts of my house...

  • Use BL 5's and other equipment with HDMI

B&O enthusiasts, I have recently had to move a significant amount of AV equipment that a friend of the family had to give up due to housing changes. There is a large amount of B&O equipment. I will paste the list below. I have tried to sell some of it (with no luck in rural Alabama), but can...

  • B&O App - ear defenders not included

Had been meaning to post this a couple of weeks ago; but a quick heads up... I was in the process of trying to set up and add a Beosound 2 to our network using the B&O App, following the last update. During set up, when I turned the TV on using the app, the TV speakers and all connected speakers...

  • Beolab 4000 - connected to coaxial

Hope you experts can help! I have purchased a new LG TV and I would like to connect my Beolab 4000’s to it. Unfortunately, the only sound out on the TV is a coaxial output (no RCA and no 3.5mm jack)! As such, I have purchased a coaxial to analog converter. I have connected this to the RCA and set...

  • Beomaster 2400 Sound controls not working

I have just acquired a Bombaster 2400 (not the II). I can turn it on. Most of the lights work. It does play from the FM radio and a Beogram 3400 at low volume, but the volume is not adjustable. The touch pad works well for switching from function to function (between the FM channels or to the phono etc...

  • Tjirping tones beolink passive

Hey all, have recently connected a beolink passive to my Beosound Ouverture and it sounds heavenly, however every now and then I hear some tjirping sounds in the background while playing music. It sounds a bit like it is somekind of check or control tone, a distinct electronic tjirp through the loudspeakers...

  • AppleTV 4, Beolab speakers and volume too high

I play music using AirPlay to an ATV4 connected via an HDMI -> TOS -> analog output-adapter to my Beolab-speakers. Now the problem is that I can't play sound at a low level with this setup. Changing volume in iTunes works but even if I set the volume really low the output volume is still medium...

  • How to adjust the volume on my BL8000?

I have a pair of BL8000 connected to a non-BO TV using the TV's TOSLINK via a D/A-converter with optical input and RCA-output. The problem now is that I can't adjust the volume. The volume control for the TV apparently has no effect on the signal sent via TOS-link. Interestingly enough, this...

  • Re: Beolab 6000, 8000 and/or subwoofers

[quote user="Millemissen"] I don't know how you came across that? Maybe you could provide a link to the source of that info? The BeoLabs are usually connected to the various devices with a PowerLink cable. The PowerLink signal is a low level line signal for the amps. The control for volume...

  • Setting sound options on Beomaster 7000

I think I have tried everything. I want to get my Beo to start on e.g. volume 20, instead of 6, where I managed to set it some time ago. I get to o"options", and then nothing happens. Any ideas, at all? EDIT: Title edited by Dillen from Peomaster to Beomaster.
