  • Beocenter 7002 - Amplifier problem

Hi all I have some problems repairing my Beocenter 7002 amplifier; main fuses burned. One channel is good, the other needs the replacement of IC200/Ic201 and 0,36 ohm resistor. With this solution the IC began to be hot at 2 volts (2 of 30V); so replaced all the transistors and diode (step by step). Actually...

  • Re: Beolab 5000 Amplifier Mexico

Jeff, it is most definitely not an illusion. The Beolab 5000 amplifier does sound livelier than my other amps, tube or transistor. If anything, bass is slightly exaggerated too. I discussed this with a few B&O friends, and we all concluded to finding its sound lively and characterful.

  • Beolab Penta MK1 6603- service

Hello, I recently purchased a pair of Beolab Penta MK1 6603s. One works great, but the amplifier on the second one becomes exceedingly hot when in use. After reading several other posts, the general consensus seems to be that the potentiometer needs to be replaced, along with replacing all of the caps...
