  • BV 7-40 3d comments?

Any comments on the new BV7-40 3d? Have not seen much commentary here, other than on the V1. I saw the 7-55 which was stunning, but unfortunately the dealer did not have the new 7-40. So would appreciate any feedback. Also looking to make use of the BL1 speakers I have at home, so would the BL1s and...

  • Blu-Ray Decoding - Does it Matter?!

I've read plenty about the BV7's Blu-Ray decoding issues, or rather lack of! Now I fully appreciate why people would be disappointed that after spending so much money on the internal drive, when an external Blu-Ray player for £100 would decode more formats. My question is money aside, does...

  • 7-40 & Virgin Media

Hi All I have been a subscriber to Sky for a number of years using my Beo4 remote to control the channels - works well. I am considering moving to Virgin, is there any pit-falls / drawbacks in doing so? Can you still control the Virgin STB using the Beo4. Thanks in advance for the advice. Paul

  • BV7-40, BEOLAB 5s and SPDIF Input

My previous set up for playing lossless files from my MAC through my Beolab 5's was through a V-LINK 192 with my overture playing any random CD. In Option 0 the Beolab 5s recognised the CD output, saw a digital input and defaulted to the SPDIF from my V-LINK 192 (sounded awesome). I have recently...
