Dead Beocenter 9500
Hi all, Maybe you have been following my other thread about my Beolab Penta 3 restoration. They came as part of a package which included a non-working Beocenter 9500. The lady who sold it thought it had blown a fuse during a party. The lower glass panel is cracked across. I decided to make a quick investigation...

Restoring the Beocenter 9500
Hi, After getting help from you guys to bring my Beocenter 9500 back from the dead I have started to restore it into a good working condition. So far I have tried to clean it up a bit. There are some major issues: 1.CD door does not close easily. It jams half way and you need to press the load button...

Beolink 7000 / Beocenter 9500 reset
Hi all, I've had a couple of Beolink 7000's working happily with my Beocenter 9500 (which is a US version) for the last couple of years, until.. I used them with a Beomaster 7000 (UK version) literally just once. Even with the Beomaster packed away, the two-way comms of the Beolink drop out after...

Beocenter 9500, Replacing the Lithium Cell
This is how I went about replacing the backup battery in my Beocenter 9500 When mains is off, the lithium cell powers IC6, the PCF8583 real-time-clock/static RAM on the system control board (PCB40). IC6 draws about 50 microamps from the battery when mains is off, which is why the battery lasts many years...

Beocenter 9500 no sound from Phono Input
Hi, yesterday I got the retiped stylus for my Beogram 1202. I plugged it into one of my Beocenters 9500 and was terribly disappointed as I heard nothing. It then turned out, after I connected the turntable to my other Beocenter and it worked perfectly there, that apparently the phono input on the first...

Beocenter 9500 CD outputs increasing static noise
Hi! The CD player in my Beocenter 9500 was having trouble reading the CD, so I replaced the famous C2103 capacitor from the kit found at Beoparts Shop which solved that problem! At that time, I did not change the other capacitors included in the kit, since I figured "don't fix what's not...

Beocenter 9500 cassette next/previous song problem
I have just serviced a type 1 cassette mechanism in a Beocenter 9500 by installing a new belt (from beoparts-shop.com) and removing and lubricating the tape transport pegs. All works fine, except for when using the next/previous song feature. When the playback resumes after finding a gap between songs...

Re: Beocenter 9500 no power to sliding doors Tape/CD
Thank you and like this serious quality site about "beauty&eyecandy" from Denmark I will check the motor circuit and feed circuit that the service manual describes. Ottar.
