  • Re: Beosound 9000 cleaning

Hi its by no means a permanent fix but as a pointer your laser probably isnt focusing too well, if you have a cotton bud to hand you need to dip it in some alcohol then squeeze of the excess from the tip, open the lid select a empty CD slot. Slide the cotton bud in from THE RH side "as viewed from...

  • BS9000 ticking when playing CD's

I've had my BS9000 for about 5 years now - it's mounted horizontally on the wall. Recently I've noticed a fairly prominent ticking sound when it's playing back CD's - it seems to be worse on the middle slots. It seems as though the mechanism is catching somewhere. Is this an easy...

I have checked the spring alignment screws underneath and they seem to be in the right position for the unit flat. Also...

  • Beolab 5 Generations

Please community, does anyone know which generations exist of the Beolab 5? I am going to buy a pair of Beolab 5. I do strongly consider to by a second life pair, instead of a new one. • Re: Is buying B&O today a sound investment?

In 2011 my B&O Avant32 died after just 8 years. It was replaced with a BeoVision 7-4 mrk IV. Just the other day the display became faulty. The problem is, that B&O cannot repair the display. You have to buy a second hand TV. I have written to B&O and told them, that they cannot sell to such...

  • Re: BS9000 - How to install SW Upgrade Chip ?

Martin if you look in the Media section (from the main menu) you will find some pictures of the BS9000 published by Keith that indicate that you indeed need to open up the whole unit to replace the s/w chip. Regards Rolf
