Please provide an answer to my poll question

Which Date and Time would you be willing to be on-line

Dear Beta Testers,

Whilst I still have a few items to fix and modify after receiving feedback, I want to be sure the system is robust under load, load meaning number of members on-line reading and posting at the same time.

With the above in mind I would like to find a date and time within the next week when as many Beta testers can be on-line at the same time as possible taking into account that we have beta testers in the US, Mexico, Australia as well as in Europe.

Please indicate the date and time when you are most likely to be able to be on-line for at least 1 hour.

  • Saturday 11th February between 5pm & 7pm UK time (18.8%)
  • Saturday 11th February between 9pm & 11pm UK time (9.4%)
  • Sunday 12th February between 3pm & 5pm UK time (15.6%)
  • Sunday 12th February between 7pm & 9pm UK time (46.9%)
  • Sunday 12th February between 12noon & 2pm UK time (3.1%)
  • Monday 13th February between 2pm & 4pm UK time (6.3%)
  • Total Votes: 32
  • Voting Ended: 2/13/2012

Regards Keith....

@burantek : hey! It seems that you're also experiencing double posts because of long posting delay...

And a nice one too! Beocord 5500?

7000 Smile I believe that was the one that my girlfriend has now (she didn't like white, so I got to keep my 6500 system instead of that 7000 stack Hmm )

The recording is from 1986 I think!

New forum looks fine. Is that the final look?

I'm finding it a bit difficult to use easily.

Hope it's sorted the posting issue for high count posters - but apart from that issue, what is better about it?

I'm finding it less easy to use myself

I remember going through quite a few Beoworld changes. Everyone disliked the change at first but you do get used to it. If you went back to some of the previous ones there'd be an uproar

Switched to Exploer - drage and drop still doesn't work for me.

No, I was C&P to see how fast we could go... the dupe warning was legit in this case!

The acoustic of this room was quite good, maybe due to the angled roof and complex shape of the room (A kind of L looking like a W... Geeked )

Looks like Andy's spellchecker/spellchanger works in Explorer though.

Personally I don't mind the acoustics in rooms like this. My current apartment has stone floors, concrete walls and a concrete ceiling. Not much furniture but I have curtains. The BL5's do a great job.

Yes it's noticeable but you survive - the floor is still just one sixth of the room surfaces. Nobody in Finland has fitted carpets (or wall-to-wall carpets or whatever they are called) - some have vinyl, a few have cork, the rest are hardwood or laminate like mine...

I'd break a lot of stuff if they were stone.
