which cable required for datalink connection BG8002 and BM8000?

Yes, correct. You can get one at Steve's online shop (see banner at bottom). Or if you are handy with a soldering iron you can make one. Only one of the two extra-pins is necessary (7?).

I think you need a male-to-female seven pin.

This is actually a special cable as it is shielded unlike most other 7 pin cables. There is a shield that runs from the casing of the DIN plugs as well as the other cables. They usually have a PH sticker on them.

Aha, ok! That's what is special about the cable? A little ûberviolence to use it for Beocord then.

Yes, mine has the PH sticker, Beocord has a TP sticker!

I think you can trust Steve. It will not be an original B&O but it will work perfectly.
