Beoplay A2 won’t connect - power issue? - power light only half illuminated

Hi, I’ve had my Beoplay A2 for a few years now but the other day I’ve started having issues to get it to work. The power light on the side is not illuminated (neither blue, green or orange).  When I press the power button on the top it initially lights up and then after a few seconds it dims and is only half illuminated. When I press any other buttons like the Bluetooth one the top power light fully lights up for a few seconds again. when trying to connect a device to the speaker it cannot be found or connected to. I have left it to charge overnight but this has made no difference.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be going on? And what I could do to perhaps reset it?
