Hello Peter,
I understand you have a very good grasp on how to connect different pieces of equipment and I have a question to ask. My current setup is co0nsisted of a V1 on which a pair of 18s (front), 4000s (rear), and 2 (sub) are connected. V1 is connected to an Atlona switch (5 input/2 mirrored output, and an spdif output (coax)). On the Atlona I have all my stbs connected (apple tv, cable tv, etc). The second output of the Atlona is connected to an epson projector. When I watch tv I use my v1 for both image and sound, when I watch a movie on my home cinema I use the projector for image and the v1 for sound (spdif out of atlona is connected to spdif in on v1).
I was wondering if I could buy an eclipse soundcenter connect it to one of the atlona input. On one of the Atlona output I will connect an lg tv and on the other the projector I already have. In order to be able to listen to the sound of the tv I will connect it to the hdmi-arc of the lg and get the sound of the tv to the soundcenter by connecting the spdif out of the atlona to the spdif in of the soundcenter (the audio return chanell of the hdmi is output to the spdif).
Doyou think it is feasible to do such a connection?
Thank you in advance for your response
