Sonos and Ikea have partnered to launch their Symfonisk range of speakers.

In an apparent world exclusive I can show what looks like a link up with B&O and Laura Ashley with a re design of the BeoSound Shape?

Can anyone verify this?

Where ever that is - burn it to the ground and then sew the ground with salt!

Obviously a fake es much as picture concerned (no volume, no shadows, all flat)…

But… Whats interesting, when you mix different threads here in beoworld like "Reclothing my BL8000" and "David Lynch's M3" is that you can actually customize your own Beosound shape with whatever jersey you want; Louis Vuitton Monogram, Paul&Joe Jungle pattern, Kenzo colors… Whatever you want. even without harming the original expensive speakers covers.

So may it be Laura Ashley, Supreme, H&M or whatever fancy opportunistic brand, I would not ever pay more for a jersey cover.

As a matter of fact - why not? Having Beosound Shape on the (main/biggest) room wall is a statement in itself, can‘t see what is wrong with adding a bit of extra personality to it? Versace Home, for example. Or an integration with Vitsoe 606 - for the ones less... intense.

....or just leave to those, who like it.

I guess you have other worries than this, or?

I guess that people who like something like that would never buy B&O Whistle

(btw. -the Sonos/Ikea speaker/lamp is one of the ugliest things I have ever seen) Ick!

I think it’s a great way to reach out to female buyers. (If that is PO to say these days)

Not my cup of tea, but I support the idea, though. We could even run a contest here on which Shape is in the worst shape... Stick out tongue Not sure if there are enough punters to turn this into a businesscase for Skiniplay, though.

You could probably afford the original masterpiece for what it would cost to do this one with Shape, tho I think it hits the target market.

Argh, that's even worse!

I guess it's like the book review that Abraham Lincoln wrote before he became President: People who like this sort of thing will find this the sort of thing that they like.
