Following on from Peters BM8000 I have decided to take a look at this unit, came by way of Solderon (well I have to have something to occupy my time!) I'm not sure about these "modern day" pieces, prefer the metal and wood construction...and the micro-computer thing is also daunting, but they do look rather slick with the digital display.
I know there are two fat boys hiding inside the screened enclosure...…..wont be doing anything else in here!
Sort these two out and get out of there...….
Re assembly under way....not had any issues with this unit, which makes a change....
Hi Craig
Greatj job so far, nearly at the end. I might be telling granny how to suck eggs, but when you put the black cover on over the LEDs, be Careful of the balance bulbs, I broke two on my rebuild.
I love this unit, it’s just as good as my Beomaster 4400

Yes…..when I offer up the cover I can see how easy it would be to break one or even both of the balance lamps, care will be taken ;¬)
All done...….set it away on a test period, all inputs functioning and sounds very nice to be fair...FM is really good.
