Hi......just bought a bl2 from morethan av ( no issues) very easy and pleasant to deal with.

My question is ......better to have the bl2 free or corner or wall, or is it just a matter of sound.

I have a linn sub at present and is under the sofa ....and gives a really nice level of bass

( it's just not as nice to look at as the bl2)

Any advice would be appreciated

You'll also find that if you ever add a second bl2 to the room, with the proper placement you'll find that the sub has a more "natural" presence in the room.

Interestingly, I don't find that 2 BL2s double the rumble. Rather, it makes them less noticeable and more natural-sounding when placed in opposite corners of the room. I don't know if there's any actual science to this. It's just my perception.

Move it around and try all the setting but as often as not room layout and furniture dictate placement.

This reminds me to try a second BL2.

I did try BL2 as part of my music setup.

After 2 months of torture, I realized that it was inappropriate for music.

It's ok for home theater.
